Border Czar Tom Homan Has Wasted No Time Fixing the Border, Revealed Deportations Have Begun

As a result of the socio-cultural suicidal policies of the Obiden Regime, illegal aliens were able to cross the United States’ borders and not be removed.

All they were required to do was claim “Asylum!” and our agents had to let them stay.

This from thepatriotjournal.com.

Those days of catch-and-release sanctuary policies that tied the hands of our brave ICE agents are finally over—and not a moment too soon.

For three long years, America watched helplessly as The Regime transformed our nation’s schools, churches, and hospitals into unofficial sanctuaries for those who broke our immigration laws. The Regime put criminal aliens ahead of American children, the sick, and elderly.

While Border Patrol agents were overwhelmed and communities struggled, bureaucrats in Washington created an elaborate maze of “protected areas” where immigration law simply didn’t apply.

But as President Trump reminded us in his historic inauguration address, elections have consequences. The mainstream media may be clutching their pearls over his promise to “seal the border.”

Yet, his administration was already quietly putting pieces into place for what might be the most significant immigration enforcement operation in American history.

In a bombshell revelation that sent liberal mayors running for their fainting couches, Trump border czar Tom Homan announced Tuesday that ICE deportation operations have already begun.

Homan declared during an appearance on Fox News, marking a dramatic shift from the hamstrung enforcement policies of the previous administration:

ICE teams are out there as of today.

Homan emphasized, delivering what might be music to the ears of law-abiding Americans:

Let me be clear, it’s not only public safety threats that will be arrested.

This stark declaration signals the end of the selective enforcement policies that handicapped our immigration officers since January 2021.

In what might be the most satisfying development of all, Homan revealed:

[S]sanctuary cities—those progressive havens that have deliberately obstructed federal immigration enforcement—are about to get exactly what they’ve been trying to avoid.

Homan proclaimed:

More agents in their neighborhoods and more collateral arrests.

The Trump administration has already dismantled key Biden-era restrictions, including the notorious “protected areas” policy that essentially created enforcement-free zones across America.

Under the new directive:

ICE agents will use their professional judgment rather than following arbitrary restrictions that turned everything from food banks to church parking lots into unofficial sanctuaries.

Chicago was initially targeted as the first major operation site, however, strategic adjustments were made after operational details leaked. This minor setback has not slowed the administration’s momentum.

ICE teams are already in the field, with a clear focus on public safety threats, and authorization to enforce immigration law wherever violations are encountered.

God speed to ICE.
