Quick Takes from the Past 24-48 Hours

The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):

1. Top ActBlue Staff Walk Out Amidst Investigations

ActBlue, the Left’s primary fundraising platform, is engulfed in turmoil following the resignation of at least seven senior officials.

The walkouts come amid an investigation led by Republican members of Congress into the platform’s security and fraud-prevention protocols, with particular attention to illegal, foreign contributions. Noteworthy departures include the associate general counsel and the chief revenue officer.

The situation has implications for the communist/globalist crime syndicate fundraising capabilities, given ActBlue’s significant contributions, totaling over $16 billion, to Leftist campaigns since its inception in 2004.

Zain Ahmad, who remains as the sole attorney in ActBlue’s general counsel’s office since February 26, has accused the organization of retaliating against him. He claims the company restricted his access to email and internal systems and deleted certain communications on the Slack internal company messaging platform.

Reacting to these developments, two unions representing ActBlue employees described Ahmad’s allegations as “unsettling and disturbing,” highlighting what they termed a “growing pattern of volatility and toxicity” under current leadership.

In a communication to ActBlue’s board of directors, the unions called for an independent investigation to review the leadership’s performance and the organization’s overall stability. […]

2. French MEP Torches EU Elites: ‘Trump Fixes Problems, You Create Them’ (VIDEO)

In a fiery speech before the European Parliament, French MEP Virginie Joron (National Rally) delivered a brutal critique of the bloated, self-serving bureaucracy in Brussels, contrasting it with Donald Trump’s decisive leadership.

The conservative politician exposed the EU’s wasteful spending, its ideological crusades, and its relentless war on free speech—all while ordinary Europeans suffer under the weight of failed policies.

Joron began by declaring what European leaders refuse to admit:

Trump, in just one day, accomplished more for his people than Brussels has in fifty years.

While EU elites drown in mountains of paper, producing meaningless policies, Trump made real changes:

– banning child mutilation,

– reinstating military personnel unjustly dismissed over COVID mandates, and

– cutting off taxpayer funding to globalist pet projects.

And what has the WHO—so beloved by Brussels—actually done for public health? Nothing but censorship, lies, and cover-ups.

From COVID to gender ideology, the WHO has become a puppet of global elites, now even advocating for the surgical transition of children.

Meanwhile, as Trump restores sanity, Brussels clings to its authoritarianism.

Joron’s speech was a wake-up call—a scathing indictment of an EU that has lost its way, obsessed with control, ideology, and vanity projects instead of serving the European people. While Trump leads, Brussels meddles. While he acts, they censor. And while he fights for his country, they sell out theirs. Europe deserves better.

3. Trump Downplays Business Concerns About Uncertainty from His Tariffs and Prospect of Higher Prices

President Trump is dismissing business concerns over the uncertainty caused by his planned tariffs on a range of American trading partners and the prospect of higher prices—he is not ruling out the possibility of a recession this year.

In fact, the economy we are not experiencing is recessionary due to the Obama-Biden destructive policies. What President Trump is intent on preventing is allowing this recession to become depressionary.

After imposing and then quickly pausing 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada that sent markets tumbling over concerns of a trade war, Trump said his plans for broader “reciprocal” tariffs will go into effect April 2, raising them to match what other countries assess.

Asked about the Atlanta Fed’s warning of an economic contraction in the first quarter of the year, Trump seemingly acknowledged that his plans could affect U.S. growth. Still, he claimed, it would ultimately be “great for us.”

When questioned whether he was expecting a recession in 2025, Trump responded:

I hate to predict things like that. There is a period of transition because what we’re doing is very big. We’re bringing wealth back to America. That’s a big thing.

Further:

It takes a little time. It takes a little time.

More tariffs are coming this week, with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick telling NBC’s “Meet the Press” that 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum imports will take effect Wednesday. Lutnick said:

Trump’s threatened tariffs on Canadian dairy and lumber though would wait until April.

Further:

Will there be distortions? Of course.

Foreign goods may get a little more expensive. But American goods are going to get cheaper, and you’re going to be helping Americans by buying American.

4. Sec of State Rubio Announced End of 83% of USAID Programs

The 5,200 contracts that are now cancelled spent tens of billions of dollars in ways that did not serve, (and in some cases even harmed), the core national interests of the United States and Americans.

The Secretary further confirmed the remaining 1,000 programs would be administered directly by the State Department.

Rubio took over as acting USAID director last month after DOGE highlighted the organization’s spending on woke and left-leaning social activism.

The announcement followed the closure of the USAID headquarters in D.C., which the Border Patrol then acquired.

5. New Canadian PM Mark Carney Vows to ‘Fight’ Trump, Claims Americans Will ‘Destroy Our Way of Life’

Canada’s PM-to-be Mark Carney is a prominent globalist, a former central banker, and a climate activist. He has led the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England and is listed as an “agenda contributor” at the World Economic Forum (WEF).

During his victory speech, Carney took shots at Trump and claimed the American people want to “destroy” Canada’s “way of life.”

Further:

America is not Canada.

And Canada never, ever, will be part of America in any way, shape or form.

And:

We won’t stand by as illegal U.S. tariffs hurt our workers and their families.

As Canadians, we need to face this challenge as one united team.

Carney is expected to call for nationwide elections sometime in the next few weeks.

The election could shake up the political makeup of Parliament.

Alongside Trudeau, the Liberal Party’s popularity has fallen in recent months.

The opposition Conservative Party could be poised to take control, with polls showing the party with a slight advantage.

At least one question remains: Are honest elections possible in socialist Canada?

6. Elon Musk Confirms X Hit with ‘Massive Cyberattack’ Causing Global Outages

On Monday, tens of thousands of reports were submitted to DownDetector—users have been reporting they could not access the X app or website or they could not access posts.

In response, Musk wrote midday Monday:

There was (still is) a massive cyberattack against X.

We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources.

Further:

Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved.

Musk added that his company is “tracing” the attacks.

7. RFK Jr to Meet with Top Food Industry Leaders amid MAHA Push

The food industry as a whole has been a target of RFK Jr.’s since the initial launch of his presidential campaign.

Likely Kennedy will discuss the U.S. adjusting its regulations for additives and dyes to meet European standards.

Meanwhile, the European Union allows only approximately 300 different food additives.

Kennedy and MAHA influencers have also been outspoken about banning seed oils.

The highly refined plant-based cooking oils were recently linked to an increased risk of colon cancer.

According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), a nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. that advocates for food safety and nutrition:

[S]ynthetic petroleum-derived chemicals are commonly used as food coloring.

The CSPI’s website states:

Synthetic dyes often substitute for real, nutritious ingredients, such as fruits and vegetables, and are often used to make junk foods more attractive, especially those manufactured for and marketed to children.

In January 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a ban on a red dye called Red 3, or Erythrosine.
