He may have no legacy to speak of, but former president Barack Obama did walk away with one nice perk from his time in the White House. Democrats will blame what ever happened under his watch on the current Republican President, Donald J. Trump. Democratic Senator Kamala Harris is outraged by the number of sexual assault that have occurred in the US military. This wave a rape happened when Obama was in charge and the democrats had a majority in the Senate, but somehow it’s all Trump’s fault.

It is inexcusable but Harris’ implication is that the current administration has turned its back on what is going on in our military. I’m guessing Harris was so blind rage that she didn’t actually read the article she linked to.
Time does report on an alarming number of sexual assault in the military…
A newly released Pentagon study revealed that many sexual assaults in the U.S. military occur across the globe at a relatively small number of bases and naval ships, including some installations where more than 500 incidents occurred in a single year.
The 119-page study, conducted by Rand Corporation, surveyed American service members to uncover where troops were most at risk of sexual assault and harassment.
A total of 6,769 men and women reported assaults in the year that ended Sept. 30, up from 6,172 a year earlier. The reports came in from uniformed service members and civilian workers.
…but here’s an important piece of information Harris chose to ignore:
Assaults most often occurred on training bases in the Army and Marine Corps. Both of the services were found to have installations where Rand estimated that in fiscal year 2014 there were more than 500 sexual assaults of men and women: Fort Hood, Fort Bragg, Fort Lewis, Fort Campbell, Fort Bliss, and Camp Lejeune.
Fiscal year 2014? Wasn’t Obama the Commander-in-Chief during that particular time? And wasn’t that also when the democrats still had a majority in the US Senate?
My guess is that if Harris actually read the article, or the report, and noticed when these sexual assaults took place and who was in charge at the time, that she wouldn’t be nearly as outraged. Democrats tend to think rape is only bad when Republicans are complicit. It’s kind of like what’s going on with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Democrats totally believe the politically-motivated unsubstantiated claims against Kavanaugh, but don’t gave a crap that democratic Rep. Keith Ellison is a domestic abuser or that Bill Clinton is a serial rapist.
Earlier this year pictures emerged showing immigrants kids sleeping in dog kennels and the left freaked out accusing Trump of caging children. Those pictures were taken when Obama was president but to this day liberals scream that “Trump puts kids in cages!” Kamala Harris is obviously trying to lay the ground work for another liberal false narrative that Trump allows US service members to be sexually assaulted.
