Finally, Some Celebrity Opinions That Don’t Suck

Recently pop/country singer Taylor Swift endorsed democrat Phil Bredesen over Republican Marsha Blackburn in the race for a Tennessee US Senate seat. This has caused liberals to go crazy thinking it guarantees the democrats will pick up a seat, but they fail to remember how disastrous celebrity endorsements and opinions have been for the left. Let’s face it, Hollywood had a big hand in putting Donald Trump in the White House with their shameless fawning over Hillary Clinton. Shockingly enough, not all celebrity political opinions are terrible and I actually found a couple that both don’t suck and are hilarious.

Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak is a rare conservative in that swamp of liberalism known as the entertainment industry. He’s also a world-class Twitter troll and all-around funny guy. In response to Swift’s endorsement of a democrat and her call for people to register to vote, Sajak drop this gem:

Good point. Some people, I think we call them liberals, are too dumb to make an informed choice at the ballot box. This is something comedian Daniel Tosh drove home with his own take on the subject:

Even better point. I actually have no idea what Tosh’s political leanings are, but his show is on Comedy Central, which leans way far to the left. I have a feeling Tosh runs down the middle and gives it to all sides, but he’s definitely directing this to a majority of liberals.

Getting back to that Taylor Swift thing, reports are that after she endorsed the democrat, there was a spike in voter registration from her fans. Again, liberals see this as a victory because they say Swift’s young fans will almost certainly vote for democrats. Then again, maybe not.

Check this thing out from NBC:

It’s like Daniel Tosh said, some people are simply too dumb and don’t deserve a voice in politics.

So the democrats can’t count on young people or Hollywood to propel their “blue wave” next month, but they still have the illegal immigrant vote. Trump can’t deport them all before the mid-terms, can he? I guess there are many other forms of voter fraud and the dems will make it an interesting race.
