Two weeks ago Hillary Clinton was calling for democrats to abandon civility when dealing with Republicans. Today somebody sent something that might be, but probably isn’t, a bomb to Hillary’s house in New York. Hours later Hillary was saying it’s time to embrace civility and come together as a country. I know Hillary “evolves” on every issue, but that was some fast flip-flopping even for a fish on the deck like her.
In early October Hillary did an interview with CNN and she was fed up with Republicans winning all the time so she said this:
“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” said angry Hillary.
This was apparently in retaliation for the GOP owning her for so long:
“I remember what [the Republicans] did to me for 25 years. The falsehoods, the lies, which unfortunately people believe,” Hillary said.
And she doubled down on her call for democrats to ditch civility in an effort win back some power in Washington:
“So when you’re dealing with an ideological party that is driven by the lust for power, that is funded by corporate interests who want a government that does its bidding, you can be civil, but you can’t overcome what they intend to do unless you win elections,” said Hillary.
The overall tone of what Hillary was saying seemed like she was calling on democrats to do anything necessary, including violence, to get power away from the Republicans.
Then someone delivered a suspicious package to her house in New York today. Sure, she’s married to Bill, who is known for his suspicious package, but this appears to have spooked Hillary. She was speaking or campaigning or who-gives-a-shitting in Florida and her tone has changed radically:

“It is a troubling time, isn’t it? It’s a time of deep divisions and we have to do everything we can to bring our country together,” said Hillary.
So it went from “we must destroy the Republicans” to “we need to bring everyone together” in about 2 weeks. It usually takes Hillary a couple of years to flip like this because she’s kind of slow to catch on, but I guess a bomb scare accelerates her complete lack of convictions.
Nearly everything Hillary is for she used to be against and nearly everything she used to oppose she now supports. She used to be against illegal immigration and now she wants open borders and amnesty. She used to be against same-sex marriage and now she can’t get enough girl-on-girl action. She used to think criminals should go to jail and now she thinks the black criminals should get a free pass. She didn’t used to believe sexual assault survivors when they were victims of her husband, but now she believes anyone who makes a baseless accusation against a Republican.
About the only thing I can think of that she hasn’t “evolved” on is that she is the President of the United States. Prior to the 2016 election, she congratulated herself on her birthday as the first woman POTUS and just a few days ago she nodded approvingly when she was introduced as “the real president.”
Telling democrats to go ape-shit on Republicans is a terrible message, but at least Hillary should stick by the things she says. Even awful people have some integrity, but not Hillary Clinton. When she says something you can bet she only means it until it becomes politically inconvenient to her.
