So Michael Avenatti’s presidential run is over before it started. The “Creepy Porn Lawyer” made the mutha of all racist/sexist statements saying that the democrats better nominate a white man to oppose Trump in 2020 because women and minorities are incapable. Even though he is a liberal, it doesn’t appear as if the double-standard is going to save his ass on this one, mostly because everyone on both sides of the aisle hates him.
Avenatti is the lawyer representing porn actress Stormy Daniels in a series of lawsuits against President Trump. Because CNN has him on 3 times every single day, he got it in his mind that people adore him, which they clearly don’t, and decided to run for president. His campaigning has him psychotically inserting himself into every issue and he’s actually a really big reason why Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court. Thanks, Mikey.
Time did an extensive profile on Avenatti, which is worth a read for what a nut this guy is, but this particular excerpt stands out above all else:
A run for President would thrust Avenatti into the middle of the party’s identity crisis. The Democrats have not been this powerless since the 1920s, and their members have responded by nominating a historic number of women and people of color for office. But when it comes to the party’s presidential nominee in 2020, Avenatti thinks in different terms. “I think it better be a white male,” he says. He hastens to add that he wishes it weren’t so, but it’s undeniable that people listen to white men more than they do others; it’s why he’s been successful representing Daniels and immigrant mothers, he says. “When you have a white male making the arguments, they carry more weight,” he says. “Should they carry more weight? Absolutely not. But do they? Yes.”
Hey, it just occurred to me that Michael Avenatti is a white male. I wonder if he means the democrats should nominate him in 2020.
Like I said, this guy is dunzo. Nobody, not even an insane liberal, can get away with saying that people don’t take women and minorities seriously. If he was verbally attacking conservative women or minorities this would have been no problem, but what he’s saying is that liberal women and minorities are not fit to represent the Democratic Party in the next presidential election. Even Crazy Joe Biden would get hammered for statement like this.
Obviously Avenatti knows he messed up so he’s doing what everyone on the left does when they are caught being horrible by denying it ever happened. The Daily Caller got Avenatti on the phone and this is what happened:
…asked for clarification by TheDCNF, Avenatti denied ever making such comments entirely. Avenatti even first expressed confusion about the existence of such a profile altogether.
“I never said that, that’s complete bulls**t. That’s my comment, complete bullsh**t,” he said.
After a DCNF reporter proceeded to read his alleged comments back to him, Avenatti again denied ever saying such things.
“No, that’s not what I said,” Avenatti replied before hanging up the phone.
Spinning this one is going to be a lot harder than Avenatti thought. He’d be better off saying his words were taken out of context, because I’m sure Time recorded this conversation, which will prove him a dirty rotten liar. I mean really, he was interviewed by Time and yet he claims he didn’t know they were doing a piece on him. Yeah, there’s definitely some bullshit going, just not like how Aventatti says it is.
Ultimately this doesn’t really matter because Avenatti didn’t have a legitimate chance at becoming the democratic nominee in 2020 in the first place. The left was briefly interested in him for his rabid anti-Trump rhetoric, but even liberals have figured out what a psycho sleazeball he is. He’s as unappealing and annoying as a weeping mouth sore and herpes don’t win elections.
