The general rule of thumb for plagiarized ideas is, if you’re going to steal, steal from the best. Chris Cuomo is bad, so obviously he’s going to steal from the worst. In the biggest non-shocking moment of the week, the CNN lunatic host stole some ideas directly from the the Thousand Oaks mass shooter. Most normal people might take a moral inventory when they get to the point they are ripping ideas from mass killers, but Cuomo is proud of this because as I already explained, he is rotten.
On Wednesday Ian David Long killed 12 people in a Thousand Oaks, CA country bar before turning the gun on himself. This mass shooting has largely been ignored by the left because it happened in gun-controlled California and didn’t involve a dreaded AR-15. There was almost nothing to bitch about for liberals, but CNN’s Chris Cuomo found a way. Here he attacks people of faith for offering thoughts and prayers for the victims:
Okay, so Cuomo thinks anyone who offers thoughts and prayers is a dick, which is a horrible sentiment, but not even close to an original thought. It turns out the Thousand Oaks shooter beat Cuomo to the punch as reported by his own network CNN:
Authorities have identified a Facebook post believed to have been made by the shooter around the time of the attack, according to a law enforcement official familiar with the ongoing investigation.
In it, the writer says: “I hope people call me insane… (laughing emojis).. wouldn’t that just be a big ball of irony? Yeah.. I’m insane, but the only thing you people do after these shootings is ‘hopes and prayers’.. or ‘keep you in my thoughts’… every time… and wonder why these keep happening…”
Should we be worried about Chris Cuomo? He literally has the same ideas as someone who just murdered 12 innocent people. Just to be on the safe side maybe we should 5150 his ass until it can be determined if he’s a threat to himself and society or not.
This gets a little weirder because Chris’ bother New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has actually given thoughts and prayers after a mass killing. When a Muslim terrorist ran over and killed 8 people in NYC last year brother Andy had this to say as reported by ABC News:
The governor lauded the actions of the first responders and said his “thoughts and prayers are with those New Yorkers that we lost today.”
Yikes. It’s going to be awkward at the Cuomo Thanksgiving dinner table this year.
Chris Cuomo was using his rant against thoughts and prayers to push a gun control agenda and it was directed at Republicans who offer sympathy for victims of tragedy, so this might be one of those “it’s only bad when conservatives do it” kind of things. Chris’ brother is a liberal so obviously it’s not offensive when he does it.
Liberal rules aside, Cuomo is straight-up stealing his ideas from mass killers. It won’t be shocking to here him espousing the Unabomber’s anti-technology ethos or Charles Mansion’s “Helter Skelter” race war theory on future CNN broadcasts.
