Hollywood likes to insert itself into local politics, often with disastrous results. They went all in for Beto O’Rourke in Texas and the only thing that came of that was $33 million dollars flushed down the toilet. The celebs all got behind democrat Stacey Abrams for governor in Georgia and she too lost. Hollywood isn’t taking this result of a free and fair election well (they never do) and is calling for a boycott on film production in the state. Abrams, who once embraced the star power backing her, is now telling these liberal celebrity interlopers to mind their own damn business.
Back in 1997 when democrats controlled the state legislature, Georgia passed a “use it or lose it” law that purged people from the roles if they didn’t vote in elections for 3 years in a row. Brian Kemp, the Republican candidate for governor and Secretary of State for Georgia, followed state law and purged the voter roles. Because Kemp ended up beating Abrams for governor, liberals are crying that he stole the election by suppressing the vote and disenfranchising black voters. This is of course untrue, but Hollywood is all about “make believe” and they are now using this lie to seriously f*ck the hard working men and women in Georgia.
Here’s some Hollywood D-listers bravely calling for a boycott on filming in Georgia:
Brian Kemp is a corrupt, homophobic, unapologetic disenfranchiser of African American voters. If he seizes power, Hollywood needs to use it’s leverage and pull out of Georgia. Studios need to put their money where their mouth is and stand up to hate. #boycottgeorgia

There are over 20 productions shooting in Georgia.
Is the entertainment industry willing to support the economy of a totally corrupt state that suppresses democracy; where the winner isn’t the best choice for the people but the best schemer or crook?

I hate the idea of it, but if he goes after LGBTQ rights (he already has), production here is gone.
He’s a cheat, a liar, a racist, a conman- whose bigotry will cost the state a 9.3 billion dollar industry- @BrianKempGA 🖕 https://t.co/9cyStXfReA

Hundred percent agreed.
Billions of Hollywood dollars spent and created in GA. We can do something about this.#boycottgeorgia https://t.co/S4AIxboFR4

And it just wouldn’t be a Hollywood hissy fit without marginally-employed liberal bitch Ron Perlman:
To all my friends who are studio and network executives, if you choose to shoot movies and tv in Georgia, don’t bother to call me. https://t.co/gtIKNJBhNF
— Ron Perlman (@perlmutations) November 17, 2018
But Stacey Abrams, the one who Hollywood is defending, would like these celebrities to kindly mind their own business:
I appreciate the calls to action, but I ask all of our entertainment industry friends to support #FairFightGA – but please do not #boycottgeorgia. The hard-working Georgians who serve on crews & make a living here are not to blame. I promise: We will fight – and we will win.
— Stacey Abrams (@staceyabrams) November 18, 2018
Ron Perlman is a liberal elitist so he’s committed to the boycott and he doesn’t care how many insignificant little people it would hurt:
With all due respect, you DID fight! And you DID win. Your great and inspiring run was snuffed out by cheating, and suppression, both things that run counter to the American way. I cannot see myself working in a state that tolerates that. https://t.co/pnSlShcvYE
— Ron Perlman (@perlmutations) November 18, 2018
There are countless States in this great country that offer incentives to boost employment for their workers. And there are countless States that play by the rules and honor the sanctity of one man/one vote, regardless of skin color. I’ll invest my time in those!!!!!
— Ron Perlman (@perlmutations) November 18, 2018
I guess Perlman can’t count to 49, because that’s how many other “countless” states there are in this great country. Also, “one man/one vote”? That seems kind of sexist and it appears as if Perlman is trying to suppress and disenfranchise women voters.
Just so we can fully understand this madness, all of these Hollywood liberals voted for massive taxes on filming in California, which drove film productions to places like Georgia. Now that another election didn’t go Hollywood’s way, they want to devastate the lives on hard working Georgians to justify their unpopular leftist ideology. You really can’t explain liberal elitism any better than this.
