One of the offshoots of the 2016 Republican race for the party’s nomination in which a huge field of 17 candidates were fighting it out to oppose Hillary Clinton for all the marbles were the so-called “kid’s table” debates.
With so many candidates (with many being total chumps) the party found itself in a quandary in that only so many could fit on the main debate stage so a secondary debate was created for those who really had no chance at the nomination based on the polls.
This lesser debate was usually the opening act for the main event featuring now President Donald Trump, Jeb!, ‘Lil Marco, ‘Lyin Ted Cruz and the sore loser John Kasich while Jim Gilmore, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, and others were given the “kids table” treatment.
Now with reports of over twenty Democrats looking to chase the chance to run against Trump, DNC boss Tom Perez has a bit of a dilemma on his hands.
The thin-skinned, caterwauling SJW socialist babies who comprise the bulk of the party’s base these days may scream RACISM if Cory Booker, Kamala Harris or another hopeless candidate of color isn’t on the main stage.

Via The Washington Times, “Democrats wary of ‘kids’ table’ spectacle in crowded 2020 debates”:
Herding cats may turn out to be child’s play compared with the task of corralling what could be some two dozen Democratic candidates vying for a place on the debate stage as the party tries to pick its opponent to President Trump in 2020.
Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez is expected to reveal his plans before Christmas for how many debates the DNC will sanction and how it will decide who makes the cut.
The decisions are likely to be tricky.
A debate with more than a dozen candidates could seem ridiculous, but the spectacle of shunting high-profile minority candidates to a “kids’ table” afterthought debate because they aren’t polling high enough — as the Republican Party did in 2016 — could dent the DNC’s outreach efforts.
Jane Kleeb, a DNC member from Nebraska, said she hopes the party holds a lottery in the early debates to determine who makes which grouping.
“It is a luck of a draw,” she said, adding that could rub some well-known contenders the wrong way but would help ensure the process is fair and give little-known candidates a chance to break out. “We never know who the dark horse is going to be.”
Affirmative action at it’s worst but it underscores just how hostile to white people that the racist party has become if it is so intent at cramming imbeciles like Kamala Harris and “Spartacus” Cory Booker down America’s throat that it would field an unpopular and unqualified candidate to please their insane base.
