One of the most disturbing aspects of these troubled times is that so many young people have been susceptible to the socialist snake oil that is being peddled by Democrats like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
But those who are eager give it a try, are completely ignorant of history and the repression that has inevitably befallen those who took the great leap of faith.
In a recent study by the Victims Of Communism Memorial Foundation, the astounding finding was that nearly HALF of millennials believed that socialism was preferable to capitalism and this was before Ocasio-Cortez became a rock star.
But the real truth is much different. Look at the piles of bodies, the gulags and the misery of classical socialist/communist regimes or more recently, the mega-failure of Venezuela where the citizens found out much too late that the promises of a Utopian society would bring poverty, violence, disease, and hunger of the type where people stalked and ate zoo animals to survive.
It’s pretty bleak in reality but in a short video that is now rocketing around social media, humorist Chad Prather who lays it out and in the process rubs the faces of celeb socialist pimps like the vulgar and obsessive Jim Carrey right into a steaming pile of his own hypocrisy.

You can’t argue with any of what Mr. Prather says and those who want to, just read some books on what a socialist “utopia” is really like.
Start with Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s “The Gulag Archipelago” which should be mandatory reading in our public education system which seems to have omitted the true lessons on the failure of socialism.
