With the democrats shutting down the government by refusing to fund even a cent for border security, President Trump has suggested that he would declare a national emergency to get a wall built along the US/Mexico border. Illegal immigration and a porous Southern border qualify as an emergency and the President of the United States certainly has the authority to declare it as such, so the the democrats’ response is that they will riot in the streets. Democrats are not serious people. Why do morons keep voting for them?
After yet another unproductive meeting with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, in which the democratic leaders refused to budge from their no border wall funding position, Trump had this to say on Thursday.
“Either we’ll win or make a compromise. I’m okay to make a compromise—compromise is in my vocabulary very strongly. I think a compromise is a win for everybody, otherwise, I can declare a national emergency,” said Trump.
The President was simply restating that if the democrats refuse to even negotiate on border wall funding to end the government shutdown, that he would consider declaring a national emergency to secure our borders.
California Rep. Eric Swallwell, who threatened to nuke gun owners to disarm them, had this very stupid reaction:

Violent crime has steadily been declining since the 1990’s and is at a historic low, so maybe the only national emergency here is that the people of California elected this nuke-happy clown to office.

Let’s see, President Trump wants to secure out border to keep Americans safe from illegal immigrant violence, which is another way of saying he’s trying to save lives. I don’t think Katie Hill understands what terrorists do, but I can assure her that it isn’t preserving human life.
Finally, California Rep. Mike Levin says if Trump declares an national emergency that he and his liberal colleagues in the House will riot in the streets:

Of course Levin, like all other democrats, is completely full of shit. He ain’t taking a fight to the streets. He’s going to sit on his sorry ass and complain about stuff on Twitter like every other big-talking coward.
All of this noise is part of the democrats’ effort to change the narrative. They are the ones who refuse to fund border security because they want a steady flow of illegal immigrants into this country to make up their base. They are the ones who are responsible for the government shutdown and they are the ones who can end it. Instead of owning up to their shutdown, they want to shift the conversation to guns, domestic terrorism, or anything but the real issue of an illegal immigrant invasion.
