Egomaniac Ocasio-Cortez Refuses To Play Nice With Other Democrats

Democrats are facing the mounting horror that in their desire to find a savior they have instead created a monster that is beginning to devour them.

Many members of the new House majority are quickly finding out that socialist superstar Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t play well with others and have taken their concerns to the media in a development that should send a shiver up Nancy Pelosi’s spine.

The 29-year-old former bartender has developed a gargantuan ego to go along with her extremely thin skin and a tendency to play fast and loose with the facts and less than two weeks into her term as the representative for New York’s 14th congressional district is stepping on toes and terrorizing fellow Democrats.

According to Politico, “Exasperated Democrats try to rein in Ocasio-Cortez”:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is already making enemies in the House Democratic Caucus — and some of its members are mounting an operation to bring the anti-establishment, democratic socialist with 2.2 million Twitter followers into the fold.

The effort, described by nearly 20 lawmakers and aides, is part carrot, part stick: Some lawmakers with ties to Ocasio-Cortez are hoping to coax her into using her star power to unite Democrats and turn her fire on Republicans. Others simultaneously warn Ocasio-Cortez is destined for a lonely, ineffectual career in Congress if she continues to treat her own party as the enemy.

“I’m sure Ms. Cortez means well, but there’s almost an outstanding rule: Don’t attack your own people,” said Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.). “We just don’t need sniping in our Democratic Caucus.”

Sandy quickly clapped back on Twitter with a quote from Rorschach, a character featured in the graphic novel “Watchmen” that should raise more than a few eyebrows.

Via The Wrap, “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Answers Critics With ‘Watchmen’ Quote”:

Responding to a story which published Friday in Politico about the House Democratic Caucus hoping to rein her in, Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “None of you understand. I’m not locked up in here with YOU. You’re locked up in here with ME.”

The iconic quote was spoken by the character Rorschach in both the “Watchmen” comic and the 2009 film adaptation. Rorschach utters the line as he retaliates against the inmates in the prison after he was incarcerated following his arrest in the story. According to Heroic Hollywood, Rorschach is probably the most politically-charged character out of the entire comic and he bares similar parallels with the congresswoman.

The Alan Moore epic may have been published three years before Ocasio-Cortez was born and it’s possible that the reference came from one of her staffers but it should be more than a bit troubling that she is quoting a character who is a violent vigilante who in the novel kills two dogs with a meat cleaver, burns a man alive, tortures others and brutally murders others without a bit of remorse.

The specific quote of  None of you understand. I’m not locked up in here with YOU. You’re locked up in here with ME” came after Rorschach had thrown hot cooking into the face of a fellow prisoner in the chow line that caused “horrific” burns.

Granted that the victims of Rorschach’s acts of violence all had it coming to them and some may make the argument that the House Dems are equally deserving of her but there will eventually be a day of reckoning when the worm turns on AOC which it inevitably will.

Not only are her fellow Dems carping about her but even Whoopi Goldberg of ABC’s snakepit “The View” just called her out for “pooping” on those who should be her political allies who will be busily sharpening their knives until the moment is right.

Like Frankenstein’s monster, Ocasio-Cortez has escaped the confines of the laboratory and is now rampaging through the village.
