Gay Actor Is Fighting Against President Trump With This Hot Pink Cape

The left has tried everything they can think of to take down Trump: recounts, Electoral College revolts, 25th Amendment coups, bogus investigations, holding their breath until their blue in the face, etc…but nothing has worked. Finally one brave gay actor has figured out the key to getting rid of the freely-elected President of the United States and it involves a hot pink cape. How? Why? What? If he explains how this topples Trump it might not work, so this will have to remain a mystery.

This was a real headline at The NY Post today: ‘Pose’ star Billy Porter uses fashion to fight Trump

And here is the fashion that is kicking Trump’s ass in the poor fool’s mind:

Take that Trump! I honestly can’t figure out how Trump hasn’t resigned yet. I mean, an actor most people have never heard of wore a pink cape. How much more can Trump endure before he quits?

To go along with that ludicrous headline is an even more ridiculous article:

Billy Porter is taking his resistance to the red carpet.

The “Pose” actor, 49, made a huge splash at Sunday’s Golden Globes in a custom embroidered suit and cape from Randi Rahm. But Porter doesn’t want to just look fabulous — he also wants to use the red carpet as a platform for activism.

Now here’s the weird thing: despite the headline and article saying that Porter is using his fashion to fight Trump, there is absolutely no mention of how this cape is attacking the President. The only said about the cape at all comes from the guy who designed it and he didn’t explain the garment’s Trump-punching abilities.

But it was the cape’s neon lining that really made viewers’ heads turn. “We knew that it would just be such a moment for him to open that up that we couldn’t keep it with the same tone, it had to be a pop of something, so we went with hot pink,” [Sam] Ratelle said.

Porter’s stylist did make mention of the actor’s fashion-based assault on the President in the past:

“With [Billy], every single time we work on something together, the first thing we do is think: What is the statement we’re making with this? What can people take away from this? Like when he started wearing dresses recently, that was very specific because of all the stuff that was going on in the White House regarding transgender rights. We started talking about it and we’re like, we have to start representing these people because you have to normalize that somehow publicly. There has to be visibility,” said Ratelle.

Sometime previously, Porter fought Trump over transgender rights by wearing dresses? Let’s call that one a fail since literally no one ever heard about it until today. Also, since transgender people have the exact same rights as everyone else, it’s a pointless fail.

That however doesn’t address how this hot pink cape is supposed to knock Trump down a peg. I can’t stress this enough: there is nothing in the entire article about this. I’m calling fake news on this and I hope Facebook responds appropriately by banning the NY Post from the platform.

Despite the lack of supporting content for the headline, I do feel like fashion can be used as a weapon against elected officials. I’m using my keen sense of style to get rid of California’s newly inaugurated governor. With my Iron Maiden t-shirt (Book of Souls tour), cut-off BDU shorts, and flip-flops I will fight Gavin Newsome. Since it’s almost beer-thirty I will accessorize this ensemble with a cold one. Let’s see how long that liberal bastard can withstand my fashion assault before he folds.
