When everything is racism, nothing is racism…
The impasse over the government shutdown is clearly starting to alarm Democrats and their media mouthpieces as President Trump continues to insist that border security is funded before any deal is made.
Now that it’s been nearly one month since the shutdown began and Dems spending their time partying in Puerto Rico instead of getting to work in the best interests of the American people, the tide could be turning against Chuck and Nancy with Trump being the only one calling for negotiations.
He also addressed mounting concerns over the impact of the shutdown by ordering thousands of government employees back to work to perform essential functions such as inspecting airplanes, monitoring food safety and processing tax returns despite their not being able to get their pay until the shutdown is over.
Despite that fact that workers will be paid for all of the missed time once the government reopens, the left is pushing a bogus narrative that they will be working for free and who to better exploit that talking point than CNN’s incorrigible race-baiter Don Lemon.
Lemon has become a star at the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news” for his jeremiads against Trump and his supporters who he regularly smears as racists but he upped the rhetorical ante by invoking slavery, a despicable part of the nation’s history that despite having been eradicated over a century and a half ago is talked about as if it still exists today.
The host made the comparison on Thursday night while his BFF Chris Cuomo (the brother of New York’s socialist governor Andrew) nodded in agreement like a bobblehead doll.

Via The Washington Free Beacon, “Don Lemon Compares Government Shutdown to Slavery, Indentured Servitude”:
CNN host Don Lemon on Thursday night likened the situation of government employees working during the government shutdown to slavery or indentured servitude.
Lemon, who is African American, made the comment during a brief appearance on “Cuomo Prime Time” with colleague Chris Cuomo. Lemon responded to rapper Cardi B’s new Instagram video slamming the shutdown. In the profanity-laced video, Cardi B said the United States “is in a hellhole right now. All for a … wall.”
“This is ridiculous. If you are being summoned to work without pay, what is the synonym for that?” Lemon said.
“And for no good reason,” Cuomo interjected.
“What kind of people work without being paid? Either you’re an indentured servant or you are a slave,” Lemon said.
Once again, Lemon shows how when the left has no ability to produce a legitimate and coherent argument that they immediately resort to whipping out the race card to inflame tensions and keep Americans divided against the common enemy which is the fake news media.
