Socialist dingbat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has some major buzz going in democratic circles and Elizabeth Warren looks to be trying to capture some of that magic as she gears up for a presidential run. AOC once said that their are 3 chambers of Congress so Elizabeth Warren one-upped the ignorance by saying that there are only 2 branches of the federal government. Apparently democrats think having an embarrassing ignorance of basic civics is the key to success.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) doesn’t know how many branches of government exist: “There are two co-equal branches of government, the president of the United States and the Congress”

Warren was on CNN talking with Anderson Cooper about the current government shutdown.
“Do you ever think that look the realistic endgame is that Republicans get two-thirds of what they want and democrats have to settle for the shorter straw? Is that how the balance of power works?” Cooper asked.
Pay attention to that two-thirds thing because that’s how close Warren gets to describing the United Sates government.
“Well, let’s talk about the balance of power. There are two co-equal breaches of government. The President of the United States and the Congress,” replied Warren.
So close. She was 2/3 right, which is actually much better than her 1/1024th Native American heritage. What about the Supreme Court? Don’t they get a shoutout?
Every 5th grader knows that there are three branches of government: the legislative, the executive, and the judicial. Elizabeth Warren was at one time a professor at Harvard University. so you’d think she’d know this. Then again, she was hired because she used to pretend she was a Native American, so maybe she really is a dangerously unqualified Affirmative Action minority hire.
Warren said that there are 2 co-equal branches of government, so maybe her argument is that the Supreme Court is less equal than the President and Congress. That’s co-equally as stupid as all 3 branches have the same level of importance in the balance of power. Congress makes the laws, the President enforces the laws, and the Supreme Court judges the Constitutionality of the laws. Without all three branches, there is no balance of power and our entire system collapses.
It’s likely there are only two branches on Elizabeth Warren’s family tree: the Anglo branch and the Saxon branch, but there are definitely 3 branches of the federal government.
I don’t know if this is irony or just really f*cking funny, but two days ago Warren said this as reported by CNN correspondent MJ Lee:
Warren’s speech here in San Juan is the first prepared remarks since she started running. Big applause line: “Make no mistake: this wall is dumb.” pic.twitter.com/NDnXzbTYdr

Walls are inanimate objects, but even they know how many branches the US Government has. Though she probably didn’t mean it, Elizabeth Warren has made a great case that she’s dumber than a wall. She also reinforced the stereotype that women are bad with numbers.
The good news here is that this foreshadows an insanely entertaining campaign season for 2020. There are so many dumbshit democrats running and they will be killing themselves to out-stupid each other. Elizabeth Warren saying there are only 2 branches of the government is nothing compared to what morons like Kristen Gillibrand and Kamala Harris will say. Def-Con News is going to have to get some more writers just to keep up with the idiocy of the Democratic primaries.
