Friday afternoon a photo from Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s college yearbook showing a person in blackface standing next to someone dressed in a KKK hood and robe emerged. Northam is a democrat so it was assumed there would be no blowback from this shocking racism, but amazingly democrats are calling for him to resign. This is probably just the democrats pretending like they care when one of their own is busted for racism and this will all blow over by the end of the weekend.
In case you haven’t seen it, this is a shot from Northam’s VMI yearbook:
As you can see, there’s a shot of a guy in blackface next to another in Klan garb. It hasn’t been established which one is Northam, but as you soon learn, the democrat has admitted that he’s one of the two.
In a rare move, brand name democrats are calling for Northam to resign. Here’s Elizabeth Warren, who knows a thing or two about pretending to be a different race:
These racist images are deeply disturbing. Hatred and discrimination have no place in our country and must not be tolerated, especially from our leaders – Republican or Democrat. Northam must resign.

Then there’s Kamala Harris, who once thought Northam was an anti-racism crusader:

And now thinks he should go:

Cory Booker is particularly pissed because this Northam stuff has completely overshadowed his announcement that he’s running for president:
These images arouse centuries of anger, anguish, and racist violence and they’ve eroded all confidence in Gov. Northam’s ability to lead. We should expect more from our elected officials. He should resign.

Plus there’s ditzy Kristen Gillibrand who is also running a 2020 campaign nobody cares about:
There aren’t two sets of rules for our friends and our foes: Right is right and wrong is wrong. Americans deserve to be respected by their leaders, and racism cannot be excused in our government or anywhere else. Having seen the photo, I believe Governor Northam should resign.

Who is she kidding? Of course there are two sets of rules for democrats and others.
Maybe the funniest resignation call comes from Planned Parenthood. Given Northam radical support for post-birth abortions, this is huge for PP to call for his ouster:

None of this really matters however because Northma says he’s not going anywhere:

And he still hasn’t said if he’s the blackface guy or the KKK dude.
I would like to point out that just yesterday Florida Secretary of State Michael Artel resigned after a picture of him in blackface came out. Of course he is a Republican, so this is probably not relevant to democrat Ralph Northam’s blackface photo.
