As they hustle what looks like a hate crime hoax involving actor Jussie Smollett in their latest racially inflammatory contribution to the destruction of America from within, the fake news peddlers aren’t exactly guarding their flanks.
The media has largely moved on from their despicable smearing of the students of Covington Catholic with a plethora of fake news stories that put the teens, their families and their school in peril after they were falsely accused of hurling racist slurs at an elderly Native American man.
Following the incident which took place in Washington D.C. during the March For Life, 16-year-old Nick Sandmann was vilified and slimed by the media as the face of hate simply because he stood his ground when confronted by Nathan Phillips and because he was wearing a red MAGA hat.
The false narrative quickly began to deteriorate once a more extensive video showed that the teens were being heckled by black supremacists who showered them with racist and homophobic slurs and instigated the entire confrontation who like Phillips, were the true instigators.
But the damage had been done by the media-generated hate swarm as Sandmann was pilloried by celebs the likes of the vicious and obsessive Kathy Griffin and HBO’s sacrilegious bigot Bill Maher who called him a “little prick” and unleashed more homophobic slurs.
While the media has moved on, the Sandmann family hasn’t and in a warning shot to the smear merchants who egged on the Twitter mob, one of the high-powered libel attorneys that they retained just put the antagonists on notice that they are about to have their asses sued off.
Very productive day with Lin Wood @LLinWood and Taylor Wilson @g_taylor_wilson in Atlanta. We sent out our first round of document preservation letters to a number of national media outlets. We have put them on notice! #NickSandmann #CovingtonCatholic #CovingtonBoys pic.twitter.com/dXzvBOZ9qi

Via Big League Politics, “Covington Catholic Lawyer L. Lin Wood Puts The Mob On Notice, ‘Will Take Aggressive Legal Action’”:
L. Lin Wood, the Atlanta lawyer representing Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann in upcoming litigation, spoke with Big League Politics Wednesday to offer some insight into his firm’s investigative process, and the strategy of his client. The Covington Catholic students were smeared by the media after they were confronted by left-wing activists near the Lincoln Memorial at the March for Life.
“The members of the mob who falsely attacked or threatened Nick Sandmann should be on notice that his attorneys will identify them and will take aggressive legal action against them to achieve full accountability for their wrongdoing and willful mistreatment of this young man,” Wood told Big League Politics.
“While our focus is to seek redress for the damage wrongfully inflicted upon Nick, we hope that a byproduct of our efforts for Nick will be to effectuate a sea change in how people in our society treat each other, especially when our children are involved. Nick is not the first victim of a premature rush to judgment based on false information, personal or political agendas, rumors and speculation. Hopefully, through our efforts for Nick and the efforts of an army of individuals and entities who support him and the rule of law, a lesson will finally be learned. We will be relentless in our pursuit of justice for Nick. This is not a threat – this is a fact.”
L. Lin Wood has stated that he is aware of the profane rant that Bill Maher went on against his client.
That would be THIS Bill Maher:
Bill Maher smears Nick Sandmann: “I blame that fucking kid. What a little prick. Smirk face. Like that’s not a dick move at any age to stick your face in this elderly man.”
Maher then mocks kids raped by priests: “I don’t get what Catholic priests see in these kids” pic.twitter.com/uEZ6fnTVU8

The only way that the purveyors of hate – especially recklessly unaccountable celebs with large social media followings – are ever going to tone down their incendiary rhetoric is if someone just sues the bastards and sets a precedent that this sort of hateful conduct is no longer going to be tolerated without a response.
Time for someone to put the wood to them as in L. Lin Wood.
