Flying The Unfriendly Skies

By Ben Garrison

The lefty radicals in New York love abortion so much that they’ve decided it’s fine to carry it out even right up until the point of birth.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, signed last week the Reproductive Healthcare Act, which allows abortions up to 40 weeks to protect the woman’s mental or physical health.

“With the cheers of New York legislators and Governor Andrew Cuomo over the signing of now a law allowing abortion up to the moment of birth still ringing in our ears, Virginia legislators rush to join in, essentially working for legal infanticide,” said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America.

Their new ghoulish ‘law’ was welcomed by Governor Andrew Cuomo and others with great fanfare and applause. If the baby somehow survives and is viable, they promise to make it comfortable before killing it. This is horrific. What’s next? Kill old people because they are no longer useful to society? I’m sure the left would love to kill conservatives, too—especially the Christian variety. The left cries for gun control to ‘protect the lives of children,’ but they are willing to kill the most innocent of human beings to protect their love of abortion. Disgusting.

Hillary Clinton already stated that a baby isn’t a legal human being until after birth. Apparently she and her ilk believe a baby, right up until the point of birth, is just a meaningless blob of matter to be hacked out of the womb as seen fit. Of course, the Clintons themselves consider other humans to be blobs of matter for them to use and exploit or kill and discard as they see fit. Think of the Clinton body trail and Seth Rich.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is much loved by the left because she has aggressively ruled in favor of abortion at every turn. Now that she’s dying (or maybe even dead already), she needs to be replaced by a Supreme Court Justice willing to strike down laws allowing infanticide. It’s time to stop the evil that is the butchery of innocents.

Jussie Smollett: True hate crime or another hoax?

Via The American Thinker

As more information about the alleged hate-crime investigation began circulating on Wednesday evening, it showed that once again journalists, politicians and celebrities might have run too hard and too soon with another unfounded allegation. Much like in “The Truth About The Lincoln Memorial Incident,” accurate reporting can come only with time, but that didn’t stop media figureheads from lambasting all Trump-supporters, again.

Smollett, an actor on a television show, Empire, claimed he was attacked during the early hours on Monday by two people he could not give descriptions of, not even as to their sex. He claimed they hurled racial and homophobic insults as they assaulted him and then proceeded to pour an “unknown liquid” on him before wrapping a thin rope around his neck.

Smollett then told police he went to his friend’s apartment with the rope still around his neck and continued to wear it until police were dispatched 45 minutes later. Upon their arrival, Smollett asked them to turn off their body camera recordings. During the initial interview, no mention was made indicating that the attackers were Trump-supporters but TMZ ran the headline “Attackers Shouted ‘MAGA Country'” anyway. When police were asked to verify this, they could not, and so they followed up with Smollett, where he then stated that the perpetrators did yell the confusing sentiment.

Before waiting for more information, Kamala Harris, who had an established relationship with the actor, and Cory Booker took to Twitter, where they both offered support to the actor as well as phrasing his attack as a “modern-day lynching.”

Chicago police say ‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett refuses to hand over cellphone to them

Via NBC News

“Empire” actor Jussie Smollett has refused to turn over his cellphone to detectives, who are investigating the alleged attack that sent him to the hospital earlier this week, Chicago police said Thursday.

The actor declined to share telephone records that could show he was speaking with his manager just as the alleged assault happened early Tuesday morning in Chicago, police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told NBC News.

Smollett has told police he was confronted by two men who allegedly hurled racist and homophobic slurs just before they beat him up. They are investigating the case as a possible hate crime.

The manager has told police he heard the attackers say, “This is MAGA country,” during the assault, officials said.

When police asked Smollett for his cellphone and records to confirm the call, he refused to share them, according to Guglielmi.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Chicago police would seek to obtain those records independently.

Howard Schultz Lobs Patriotic Microaggressions After Savage Attack By Liz Warren

Via Zero Hedge

Starbucks chairman emeritus and potential 2020 candidate for US president Howard Schultz has engaged in a heated spat with Sen. Elizabeth Warren over wealth.

After telling NPR’s “Morning Edition” on Tuesday that Warren’s plan for a 2% annual tax on households with a net worth greater than $50 million was “ridiculous” and nothing more than a “good headline,” Warren hit back – tweeting “What’s “ridiculous” is billionaires who think they can buy the presidency to keep the system rigged for themselves while opportunity slips away for everyone else.”

Schultz responded – slamming Warren on MSNBC for promoting programs that are too socialist, and then releasing a short video which PJ Media’s Tyler O’Neil points out is rife with “microaggressions” – those non-inclusive comments which might inadvertently offend someone.

“Senator Elizabeth Warren said some pretty sharp words about me. She referred to me as a billionaire out of touch with the American people,” Schultz begins, before explaining how he started off with nothing and worked his way up.

“I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, in Canarsie, in federally subsidized housing, the projects. When I was 7 years old my father, who was a laborer, came home and had a serious accident. He was dismissed from his job, we lost our health insurance. I witnessed the fracturing of the American dream.”

“What we need right now in America is for the country to come together, and for the Democrats and Republicans who have been unwilling to work together, to finally realize that the American people deserve much more than political slogans and tweets,” Schultz added. “What we need is a government that can work for us, leadership that we can trust.”

Schultz ends by promising: “And if I run for president, what I am going to try to do is restore the faith and the promise of the country and the American dream.”

Did you spot the microaggressions?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Is The Unicorn In A Field Of Fantasy Candidates

Via The Federalist

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the left’s current “it” congresswoman, is a fantasy candidate. Indeed, some lefties harbor fantasies of amending the Constitution so the 29-year-old could run for president. Understanding this basic point is key to grasping the degree to which we live in an era of fantasy politics.

Consider the current field of announced and likely Democratic presidential candidates. They are a sorry bunch.

Sen. Kamala Harris is sorry for her record as district attorney of San Francisco and attorney general of California. Former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg has a similar problem regarding his record on criminal justice. Former vice president Joe Biden is sorry for the 1994 crime bill and his handling of the Clarence Thomas hearings.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren must atone for having been a Republican until 1996. Sen. Kristen Gillibrand regrets her prior, more conservative positions on issues like immigration, campaign finance, and the Second Amendment. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard apologizes for her prior stance on LGBTQ issues. Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke apologizes for a decades-old theater review that used demeaning language about women. Sen. Bernie Sanders is sorry many times over that some of his 2016 campaign staff engaged in sexual misconduct, and he’s probably still sorry he once wrote about women having gang rape fantasies.
