Ex-Pink Floyd Crank Demands That Super Bowl Halftime Band Kneel For Kaepernick

Another day, another outburst from one of the celebrity freaks who are given too much importance by a dumbed-down society and the hateful lemmings that view them as philosopher kings and queens.

The radical left continues to be hellbent at hijacking Sunday’s Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams and the bullying has intensified to force the performers that are presenting the halftime extravaganza to make a political statement in support of Colin Kaepernick.

Despite having not played in two full seasons, the former San Francisco 49er quarterback turned self-styled race messiah continues to serve as an inspiration to the forces that are promoting racial divisiveness, hatred of law enforcement and the imposition of socialism in the United States and they aren’t going away.

This year’s featured artist Maroon 5 has been under relentless pressure from celebs and the cyberbullies that comprise the Twitter hate mob to take a knee for Kaepernick during the game that is normally the most viewed television event of the year.

The band has to this point not surrendered to the anti-American insurgency but now the former leader of an iconic classic rock band has made a last-minute appeal for Maroon 5 to strike a pose in honor of the man who has compared police to slave catchers and pranced around in pig socks during practice when he wasn’t kneeling during the national anthem.

Roger Waters of Pink Floyd is calling for Maroon 5 along with rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi to hit their knee in solidarity with Kaepernick.

Via The Hill, “Roger Waters calls on Maroon 5 to take knee during Super Bowl halftime in solidarity with Kaepernick”:

Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters is calling on Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi to take a knee in solidarity with former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick during their performance in the Super Bowl 53 halftime show on Sunday.

Waters made the plea in a Facebook post earlier this week, saying: “My colleagues Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi are performing during the halftime show at the Super-bowl this coming Sunday, I call upon them to ‘take a knee’ on stage in full sight.”

“I call upon them to do it in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick, to do it for every child shot to death on these mean streets, to do it for every bereaved mother and father and brother and sister,” Waters continued. “My mother used to say to me, ‘In any situation there is nearly always a right thing to do, just do it.’ So, there you go my brothers, you are faced with a choice, I’m not saying it will be easy, all the Presidents men, all the huffers and puffers, will be royally pissed off, but, $#@%’em, I call upon you to do it because it’s the right thing to do and because somewhere inside you know it.”

The 75-year-old British musician made his appeal in a social media post that called for Maroon 5 to hit their knees for “every child shot to death on these mean streets” and he’s not talking about the epidemic of black on black crime that has plagued Democrat-run cities like Chicago and Baltimore.

One has to wonder whether he has any functioning brain cells left after posting this to Facebook:

This is not a victory for the NFL, it is a defeat, you have denied football fans everywhere the pleasure and the honor of watching one of the greatest quarterbacks who ever played the game, and you have shown your true colors. You can sit in your boardrooms and huff and puff on your cigars in your glass boxes, but your action is a poke in the eye for everything that is decent in America. Colin Kaepernick is an American hero. If the USA is to have a future, it is the Colin Kaepernicks of this world who will lead you there, in fact, it is Colin Kaepernick who is leading you now.

As for Waters, he is a notorious crank whose animosity toward Israel has led some to call him an anti-Semite which if so, would put him in good company on the American political left.

Haunted by personal demons after he spat on a fan during a 1977 Montreal Stadium concert, the singer/bassist withdrew and produced The Wall, the quirky but classic concept album about alienation and mental illness that has become the band’s iconic work.

But his eccentric and prickly personality soon rubbed bandmates the wrong way and the friction along with creative differences led to a split back in the mid-1980s.

Without Waters, the band went on to record a number of albums and give stadium shows until the band retired in 2014. Waters never had much commercial success as a solo artist and has largely relied on tours performing The Wall as well as dabbling in international activism including the aforementioned anti-Israel diatribes as well as turning his shows into Trump hating spectacles.

Roger Waters is just another of those decadent rich British pigs who made their money selling albums and concert tickets to Americans and now feel free to take a dump all over the country that made him rich – he’s just a foreign version of Kaepernick.

The Super Bowl will take place Sunday at 6:30 PM ET with as many virtue-signaling commercials that money can buy and the actual football game will be an afterthought to the leftist vampires who are determined to suck the joy out of everything that’s decent about this country.
