New York is already a save haven for illegal immigrants where they can commit horrific crimes against Americans without fear of deportation. Now the state is taking it a step further by introducing a law that would punish Americans for discriminating against illegal immigrants. Yeah, you read that right. Liberal New York wants to fine and jail Americans for not kissing illegal immigrant asses sufficiently enough. Can we even call NY part of the United States anymore?
Syracuse.com reports that New York Attorney General Letitia James has introduced a bill to stamp out all of that unfair illegal immigrant discrimination. Don’t the state lawmakers make the laws? Why is the AG, whose job it is to enforce the law, proposing a law? I guess that’s hardly the worst thing about this.
Attorney General Letitia James is proposing legislation to sharpen the language of an existing law, which bars employers from firing, threatening, penalizing or otherwise discriminating against workers who report or blow the whistle on wage violations.
James’ legislation would expand the law’s definition of retaliatory conduct to include threats regarding a person’s immigration status. Potential punishments would remain the same: up to three months in jail and a $20,000 fine.
“New York State was built by immigrants and it has always stood proudly as a beacon of hope and opportunity no matter where you were born. If President Trump is going to demonize immigrants and unscrupulous employers are going to exploit them, we’re ready to fight back against them,” said James.
New York wasn’t built by illegal immigrants and President Trump isn’t demonizing legal immigrants, but whatever. In case you were wondering, yes, James is a democrat.
Now this law seems like it’s merely protecting illegal immigrants who are already employed and threatened with deportation by their bosses. However, the law adds illegal immigrants to the long list of people who cannot be discriminated against, minorities, women, transgender weirdos, etc…, so it could be used to really f*ck employers up.
Employers get in a lot of trouble for refusing to hire someone on the basis of race, gender, or sexual orientation so conceivably a boss could be accused of discrimination for turing down an illegal immigrant applicant. As I said, an American could go to jail for not hiring an illegal immigrant, which is one of the dumbest things a liberal law could ever do.
Then perhaps business will be fined and their owners imprisoned for refusing service to illegal aliens. Bakeries that won’t make cakes for illegal immigrant quinceañeras will be put out of business. Hotels that won’t allow cock fight in their conference rooms will be closed down. Any landlord who refuses to let 25 people live in an efficiency apartment will have their property seized.
The next logical step is to criminalize all forms of discrimination against illegal immigrants. When a drunk illegal immigrant mows somebody down, the victim will be cited for the cultural bias of not getting the f*ck out of the way fast enough. When a woman is raped by an illegal immigrant, she will be charged with attempting to deny sex based on immigration status. When an illegal immigrant robs somebody, that person will face a penalty for trying to withhold property the robber is legally entitled to. When an American is murdered by an illegal immigrant, the victim is retroactively charged with a hate crime for offending the immigrant to the point of violence and dumped in a pauper’s grave.
The thing is, I support President’s Trump’s border wall and his immigration enforcement, but none of it is needed. If we simply made it impossible for illegal immigrants to work, rent an apartment, get government subsidies, and free healthcare, they would leave on their own and none of them would ever try to come here. Liberal states like New York and California make it too easy for illegal immigrants to exist and give them rights and privileges above Americans.
This proposed New York law just makes the place more of a magnet for illegal immigration and is a big FU to both legal immigrants and US citizens. In reality is discriminates against people who do things the right way and follow the law. It is a reward for lawlessness and the last thing an attorney general, whose job it is to uphold the law, should be proposing.
