Illegal Immigrant Families Demand Millions From Trump For Being Separated At The Border

Holy crap! Illegal immigrant families are demanding millions from the Trump Administration because they were separated after being apprehended illegally sneaking into this country. If only there were some way those families could have managed to stay together, huh? Any American caught committing a crime would be separated from his or her children after being arrested for a crime, but for some reason illegal immigrants feel entitled to remain with their kids when they get busted breaking the law.

Here’s some infuriating bullshit from The AP:

Eight immigrant families demanded millions of dollars in damages Monday from the Trump administration for separating them, including a Guatemalan woman who alleged an officer said her 5-year-old son would be taken and then taunted, “Happy Mother’s Day.”

In claims filed with the U.S. government Monday, the parents accused immigration officers of taking their children away without giving them information and sometimes mocking them or denying them a chance to say goodbye. The claims allege that many children remain traumatized even after being reunited with their parents, including a 7-year-old girl who won’t sleep without her mother and a 6-year-old boy who is reluctant to eat.

Boo f*cking hoo and just for the record, here’s the AP’s actual headline for this article: “Separated migrant families demand millions from US agencies.”

Well no, they aren’t migrants, they’re illegal immigrants. They broke the law by trying to enter this country without permission. As a general rule, people arrested for breaking the law don’t get to be incarcerated with their children. For some strange reason, there are all kinds of commonsense policies that don’t allow minors to be housed in the same detention facilities as adults. Go figure.

As dumb as this is, it gets even stupider because at least one of the illegal immigrant plaintiffs wasn’t even separated from her kid:

In her claim , the Guatemalan woman alleges she was detained in May with her son in a type of temporary detention facility nicknamed a “hielera,” or icebox in Spanish. The immigration officer who taunted her and three other women told them the law had changed, that their children would be taken away, and that they would be deported, the claim alleges.

Am I the only one who can see how being detained with her son is different than being separated?

Technically, these illegal immigrants are not suing the Trump administration but rather trying to make a claim under the Federal Tort Claims act which gives the government 6 months to pony up the cash before a lawsuit is triggered.

Here’s the illegal immigrants’ lawyer being completely full of shit;

Stanton Jones, a lawyer for the families, said the families were entitled to monetary damages because of the government’s “inexplicable cruelty.”

“The government was harming children intentionally to try to advance what it viewed as a policy objective. It’s heinous and immoral, but it’s also a civil wrong for which the law provides a claim for relief,” said Jones.

They are illegal immigrants, meaning they broke the law to enter this country without permission. They’re criminals and entitled to nothing. No, that’s not true: they have the right to GTFO and never return.

What this piece of shit lawyer describes as an immoral “policy objective” is actually just the normal enforcement of our country’s immigration laws. You don’t have authorization to enter the country? You get arrested and deported. It’s that f*cking simple.

These scumbags dragged their young children across the desert and risked their health and safety to break into our country. There’s definitely some people acting immorally and heinously, but it ain’t the United States who treats these illegal immigrants better than they deserve. If this lawyer is looking for a villain, it’s the shitty illegal immigrant parents who subjected their kids to this kind of danger.

This is on par with a burglar getting caught breaking into a house and then demanding compensation from the homeowner because he or she was arrested and separated from his or her family. You break the law; you face the consequences. Everything that happened to these illegal immigrant families was of their own doing and they deserve nothing from our country.
