2020 Dems Rushed To Claim Jussie Smollett Was Lynched; Don’t Expect Apologies

Once again, the stunning hypocrisy of the left is on full display for all to see.

Stunning new developments in the Jussie Smollett story have dealt a serious blow to the actor’s claims that he was the victim of a hate crime carried out by two Trump supporters in red MAGA hats who beat him up and tied a rope around his neck last month in Chicago.

The star of CBS’s television series “Empire” now appears to be in serious legal trouble as his story continues to fall apart and Smollett has now retained the services of a criminal defense attorney which is normally not the reaction of an honest man.

Police have now spoken to the two Nigerian brothers who have admitted to being a part of what increasingly has the appearance of another disgusting hoax that was carried out with the intent of exploiting the left’s hostility toward President Trump to further the false narrative that all of his supporters are white supremacists.

In the latest blows to Smollett’s story, local Chicago affiliates are reporting that the Nigerians have been tied to the rope used to “lynch” the gay actor and have also reportedly admitted that they were paid to orchestrate the attack.

With Smollett’s account falling apart by the minute, one has to question whether those who rushed to judgment in order to reap political gain will also be held accountable.

One of them being 2020 Democrat frontrunner Kamala Harris, the high priestess of race-baiting who immediately exploited what now appears to be fake news to bolster her cred with the party’s SJW base by calling it a “modern day lynching” in yet another invocation of slavery which has sadly become the bread and butter of the political left.

Not content with mere racial demagoguery, Senator Harris rushed to capitalize on the hoax to introduce an anti-lynching bill – as if lynching is a common practice in 21st century America only two years removed from a two-term black president.

It wasn’t only Harris either, other 2020 candidates who are competing to one-up each other in terms of shamelessness and extremism also rushed to exploit Smollett’s story including Obama V.2 Cory Booker:

Now that the police have determined that Smollett was essentially “lynched” with his own rope, it would seem that these Democrats who now have egg dripping from their faces would walk back their inflammatory – and completely erroneous – statements.
