Boo Hoo! Malia Obama Is Receiving Unflattering Publicity!

Let me preface this with this declaration: I don’t care about Malia Obama. That being said, while looking for a topic to write about, I stumbled on a series of articles on several different liberal sites bitching about how she is being unfairly treated by “tabloid” websites using her as click bait. I pondered this for a while and steadily became more and more angry. So here we go . . .

The Slot whines . . .

Stop Snitching on Malia Obama

On Saturday, The Daily Mail published photos that reportedly show 20-year-old Malia Obama drinking rosé with friends in Miami. The tabloid wanted you to know how bad it felt this was, with the headline: “Rosé all day: Under-age Malia Obama is spotted sipping on an $80 bottle of wine with three friends at Miami Beach pool party.” The following day, it published a piece claiming that Obama had a secret Facebook account, which features anti-Trump sentiments. (Which, same?)

This attempt at salaciousness is par for the course for the publication that leans right and has been obsessed with Obama for years:

And years:

And years:

And years:

And years:

The children of presidents have never been off limits: Chelsea Clinton was mocked relentlessly by right-wingers and comedians. The Bush twins, Jenna and Barbara, gained party girl notoriety after trying to use fake IDs to buy alcohol. And Malia and Sasha Obama, as the first black first daughters, have faced a combination of tabloid fixation on their personal lives and racist bullshit: in 2014, a Republican communications director resigned after suggesting that the then-teenage sisters were scantily clad and disrespectful during the annual Thanksgiving turkey-pardoning.

“Racist bullshit” such as? If what you are referring to is the Thanksgiving episode, she was pretty much right. I don’t know about “scantily clad”part but Elizabeth Lauten, the communications director, was exactly right about them being disrespectful. There’s nothing racist about it. Look at the body language and not even disguised looks of “Oh, God! When is this over?!?!”

Elizabeth Lauten and the spoiled brats.

This is the typical of the behavior of spoiled, entitled, undisciplined children, regardless of color.

I find the look of sheer hatred on this one’s face particularly unsettling.

With all those presidential children you cited as being targets, you conveniently forgot one. Baron Trump. Here’s just a few samples for you from Townhall.

“Rosie O’Donnell Speculated That Barron Trump Is Autistic.”

“Saturday Night Live Writer Katie Rich Said Barron Trump Would Be America’s “First Homeschool Shooter.”

” Comedian Steven Spinola, who contributes on Comedy Central, referred to 10-year-old Barron Trump as a “handsome date rapist to be.” He followed that up by saying, “I don’t want my Mom to get raped, but if she does I hope it’s by Barron Trump. Small pp [sic] would be painless and we’d win lots of money in court.”

And don’t forget Baron was 10. Your precious Malia is an adult at 20. She can deal with it.

But with the modern ubiquity of cameras and social surveillance basically becoming a form of recreation, the Obama daughters are uniquely vulnerable to these invasions of privacy. She’s surrounded by narcs, essentially—from cab drivers to Ivy League assholes—who are happy to sell-out this famous private citizen to the vultures happy to smear or try to embarrass her for clicks.

Don’t be a weirdo: stop snitching on Malia Obama, a normal 20-year-old who seemed to turn out pretty great considering all the shit she’s seen. If you see her in public, maybe tell the group chat, not the tabloids.

All the shit she’s seen? Attending an exclusive private school, soccer, taking dancing lessons, drama classes, piano and tennis lessons, travelling the world, attending Harvard, and living in the most famous residence in the United States? Yeah, she’s been through a lot of shit. Life is hard. I’m amazed she hasn’t taken blues guitar lessons yet.

Don’t want to be “narced” on (I didn’t know people still used that term)? To be able to snitch on someone implies the individual they are snitching on is doing something wrong. Don’t do things that some people are going to consider scandalous and there will be nothing to photograph or write about. It’s pretty simple, really.

Personally, I don’t give two shits about Malia, what she’s drinking or what she’s smoking, none of it. But don’t go whining how she’s being treated unfairly when this is nothing new. It happens to liberals and conservatives, and she brings a lot of it on herself.
