Comrade Bernie Dodges Question On Whether USA Will Go Socialist If He’s Elected

Bernie Sanders is slicker than a greased hamster at Bohemian Grove…

On Monday night CNN staged another one of the network’s nationally televised events that are designed to promote far-left ideas and put a thumb on the scale for potential Democrat opponents of President Trump in 2020.

This time it was Bernie Sanders turn and the 77-year-old socialist who has hit the jackpot with the younger generation’s embrace of the same failed ideology that has laid waste to every society that has implemented it and more often than not led to political repression, mass incarcerations, and even murder.

Only a few short years ago it would have been inconceivable that a man like Sanders who has had a long history of defending communism and dictators would have a serious shot at the presidency and his lifelong dream of transforming America into a socialist nation.

But Bernie is a man on a mission and the allure of free stuff is far too seductive to millennials, chiselers and the unproductive underclass for him to simply be dismissed as a crank anymore.

In a mere three years, Sanders’ ideas have spread like wildfire and the masses are clamoring for free college tuition, free health care and the utopian vision of the Green New Deal even though a new estimate places the cost at roughly $93 trillion.

But to Bernie and the Democrats, money is no object as long as it belongs to other people and is ripe for confiscation by the authoritarian government that they would need to carry out their schemes.

Some Dems have been dancing around the “S” word given its negative connotations as well as President Trump’s vow that America will never be a socialist county but during his wide-ranging performance with Wolf Blitzer acting as emcee, Comrade Bernie refused to deny that if he wins the presidency, that socialism will be imposed on the citizenry.

Blitzer posed the question and while an animated Sanders dodged giving a simple yes or no answer, he laid out a laundry list of promises that can only be described as socialism.

Sanders also once again refused to call a spade a spade by joining the bipartisan condemnation of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro as well as continued to try to rebrand warmed-over Marxism as “Democratic Socialism” to make it more palatable to the low-information types who are largely ignorant of history.

Take it from an expert though and there are few who were more well-versed than Russian tyrant Vladimir I. Lenin who once famously proclaimed “The goal of socialism is communism.”

Bernie may be as slippery as a jar of greased eels but like all good communists, he speaks in revolutionary terms: at least when he’s not on CNN.

According to a Sanders oped for the UK Guardian, “It’s time to complete the revolution we started”:

To be successful in creating a government and economy that works for the many, we will have to take on powerful special interests that dominate our economic and political life – Wall Street, the health insurance companies, the drug companies, the fossil fuel industry, the military-industrial-complex, the private-prison industry and multinational corporations. These special interests have extraordinary power, and they will spend enormous sums of money to maintain the status quo and their wealth.

The only way we will defeat Donald Trump and the special interests that support him is with a grassroots movement – the likes of which has never been seen in American history. We must stand together – women and men, black, white, Latino, Native American, Asian American, gay and straight, young and old, native born and immigrant – to address the challenges we face as a nation.

We need a foreign policy which focuses on democracy, human rights, world peace, global wealth inequality, climate change and massive corporate tax evasion.

In 2016, our campaign began the political revolution. The ideas we fought for, which then were considered “radical” or “extreme,” are now supported by a majority of Americans. Now, it is time to defeat Donald Trump, complete that revolution and implement the vision we fought for.

Americans who value their freedom should not underestimate the existential threat that Sanders, his protege Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and their followers represent to all that this country has stood for and need to recognize that revolution isn’t just rhetoric when it’s being spouted by the true believers.
