Well look who just slithered out…
It is looking like the 2020 Democratic party presidential field is about to grow again with the impending entry of Barack Obama’s ruthless hatchetman Eric Holder into the fray.
The former attorney general who was already a longtime Democrat fixer before he was put in charge of the Justice Department has been mulling a run to take up residence in his old boss’s crib and it could be that Holder may soon declare his candidacy.
With the current clown car already packed to capacity with loonies and socialists, it could be a golden opportunity for him to jump in soon because he would immediately be given widespread support by the media which would quickly close ranks promote him as the adult in the room.
In what some are interpreting as a signal that the announcement of his candidacy is inevitable, Holder fueled speculation with a tweet supporting the elimination of the Electoral College – or at least its longtime Constitutional role which has never been a problem until 2016 when Hillary Clinton’s condescending stance toward working-class whites in the Rust Belt brought down that “blue wall” and helped to deliver the presidency to Donald Trump.
While Bernie, Pocahontas, Kamala and the other occupants of the already overloaded clown car are selling socialism, free college tuition, free healthcare, open borders, reparations for blacks and the $93 trillion Green New Deal, Holder appears ready to base his campaign on that bugaboo to the coastal elite that allows those who they disdain to have a voice in the democratic process. .

Via The Hill, “Holder: ‘Time to make the Electoral College a vestige of the past'”:
Former Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday called for eliminating the Electoral College, saying that it is “undemocratic” and “forces candidates to ignore” the majority of voters.
“Time to make Electoral College a vestige of the past. It’s undemocratic, forces candidates to ignore majority of the voters and campaign in a small number of states. The presidency is our one national office and should be decided – directly – by the voters,” Holder wrote in a tweet.
Holder’s comments comes as several states have moved to circumvent the Electoral College.
Earlier this week, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) told The Hill that he plans to sign a measure that would award the state’s electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote.
Eleven other states and Washington, D.C., have joined the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which would guarantee that the candidate who wins the popular vote is elected president. It would only go into effect if the coalition is expanded to include states representing at least 270 electoral college votes.
With Colorado on board, the coalition would include states and the District, which account for 181 electoral college votes, 89 votes shy of the 270 needed by a presidential candidate to secure the White House.
Hey, give Holder one thing – at least he’s consistent in his contempt for the Constitution because as Obama’s legal hitman he trashed the First Amendment by employing the archaic World War I Espionage Act of 1917 to wage war against the administration’s critics in the press.
If Holder and the movement that he is fronting for are able get their way, they will be able to effectively eradicate the Electoral College – at least per the intent of the Founding Fathers – by circumventing it although the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which he is promoting has the potential to create a constitutional crisis.
Not that any of that matters to Holder, like Obama, it’s only power and that motivate him.
