That was fast even for a BS artist like Hillary Clinton. Yesterday she said emphatically that she will not be running for president in 2020. Today, she’s leaving the door open for another possible failed attempt at the White House. Apparently in less than 24 hours she “evolved” on the issue and because this is Hillary, she blames all of us for misunderstanding her very clear words. If she is wondering why people don’t like or trust her, this is a perfect example. If she wants to know why she keeps losing, again this is it.
Yesterday in an interview with a local TV station, Hillary was asked about the 2020 presidential race and this is what came out of her mouth:
“I’m not running, but I’m going to keep on working and speaking and standing up for what I believe,” Hillary said.
It doesn’t get any more definitive than “I’m not running” but words mean different things to someone as duplicitous as Hillary Clinton. The New York Times’ Maggie Habberman reported this:
Spoke to someone close with Clinton in contact with her today. They say she wasn’t trying to be emphatic and close the door on running when she spoke to a local reporter yesterday, and that she was surprised by how definitively it played. 1/2

Again, she said “Im not running” but somehow it’s our fault for misinterpreting her words. Amazingly this gets even more Hillaryesque:
The person also says she is extremely unlikely to run, but that she remains bothered that she’s expected to close the door on it when, say, John Kerry isn’t. She has told her team she is waiting at least to see the Mueller report. 2/2

This is comedy gold. Hillary is claiming it’s sexist that people took her at her word that she wasn’t running. John Kerry doesn’t have to close the door on his presidential run, but because Hillary is a woman, people expect her to bow out. I honestly can’t stress this enough, she straight up said she wasn’t running. Nobody forced her to say those words, she let them fly under her own free will.
The other hilarious thing is that she is waiting for the results of the Mueller report before making her final decision to run or not. I suspect she’s hoping that the Special Counsel is going to prove that Trump colluded with the Russians and stole the 2016 election away from her. Maybe she even thinks through the magic of liberal wishfulness that the Mueller report will some how install her in the White House without having to go through another election. She’s going to be sadly disappointed.
So how does Hillary reconcile with the fact that yesterday she said she isn’t running and today she says she might? I’m glad you asked. You see, both Hillary and her husband Bill are world-class liars and they pick their words very carefully so that in the likely event of a deposition they have plausible deniability.
Hillary’s exact words yesterday were, “I’m not running.” What that means to her is that at that exact point in time, she was not running for president, which is true because she didn’t announce her candidacy. It doesn’t mean, in her mind, that she isn’t going to run, just that she wasn’t running when the interviewer asked her. See, that’s how Clinton bullshit works.
She may have also pulled this flip-flop because President Trump mocked her following her announcement/non-announcement:
“(Crooked) Hillary Clinton confirms she will not run in 2020, rules out a third bid for White House.” Aw-shucks, does that mean I won’t get to run against her again? She will be sorely missed!

And the best Hillary could come up with as a response was a Mean Girls GIF:

Every public speaking engagement Hillary Clinton has had since she lost involves her ranting about Donald Trump. She’s obsessed with him as well as being president. She will never be in the White House unless she gets a job cleaning the executive toilet. I don’t think she’d be very good at it, but Trump would definitely let her clean up his shit.
