Bill Maher Calls SJW’s A Cancer; Says Cultural Appropriation Was ‘Made Up’

Ding Dong, the broken clock has struck midnight…

Could it be that a backlash is coming on the political left that will be directed at the whiny, intolerant and downright nasty social justice warriors?

Following a week of insanity during which the Democrats as led by aging Nancy Pelosi was rolled by the younger generation of freshman insurgents who in putting their stamp on the party have embraced the anti-Semitism of the radical left.

Were Pelosi not such an unsympathetic character, one would be tempted to feel pity for how her leadership was challenged by the unholy triad of Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and the real leader of the modern Democratic party: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

All three have tongues like whips and are able to control the agenda through their reliance on social media where they command huge followings of angry socialist SJWs, some on the left may be belatedly beginning to see the poisonous influence on politics that the social justice movement has wrought and that they will not be safe from its terrible wrath.

One of the liberals who is starting to get it is HBO’s smarmy Bill Maher whose hedonistic, foul-mouthed elitism has made him into a cherished opinion leader even if he does go rogue on rare occasions.

And boy, did he ever go rogue on Friday night’s episode of “Real Time With Bill Maher” when he delivered a body blow to the SJW’s who he referred to as “a cancer on progressivism” which will not earn him many friends on Twitter.

Via The Daily Caller, “Bill Maher: Social Justice Warriors A Cancer On Progressivism”:

Comedian Bill Maher on Friday slammed “social justice warriors” as a “cancer on progressivism” during a panel discussion segment on his HBO show “Real Time with Bill Maher.”

“I talk about it here a lot, that there is a, I would say, a cancer on progressivism with some of the, I guess they call themselves social justice warriors,” Maher said. “I don’t think they are interested in justice. I don’t think they are interested in truth. I think they are interested in cliques. I think they’re interested in things that make people clique. And when I read them, it makes me glad I didn’t have kids who would see this.”

The HBO host noted the “smattering of applause” that occurred after his comments.

The panel then discussed “cultural appropriation.” Maher considered it a “made up” concept that doesn’t hurt anyone.

Former GOP chair Michael Steele said the key is “how you use it,” before seeming to bring up the case of Rachel Dolezal: “When a white woman goes around the country and says she’s black and her white parents say ‘no, she ain’t,’ and she keeps insisting that she’s black, that’s just bull and we don’t like that kind of cultural appropriation.”

Rothman told the story of women who were “hounded out of business” after using a recipe they obtained in Mexico for their restaurant.

“These people just want to bitch,” Maher said.

It probably won’t take long until the censors are able to dilute the powerful comments down so while you can, WATCH IT HERE.

As annoying and destructive as Maher is, he is one of the few on the left who occasionally dares to utter such heresy and boy, is this going to rattle some cages.
