The Democrats have made a decision on where their national convention will be next summer and it isn’t likely to sit well with sore loser Hillary Clinton.
On Monday, it was announced that the city of Milwaukee had scored the big event and it shouldn’t be lost on anyone that the selection of host locations is an epic trolling of Mrs. Clinton whose presidential dreams died in a handful of states that her snooty campaign took for granted.
One of them was Wisconsin where Team Hillary didn’t even bother campaigning despite the fact that she was beaten in the primary by socialist Bernie Sanders who spoke to the economic concerns of those white working-class voters that she found to be so deplorable that their voices did not deserve to be heard.
It was a mistake that proved to be fatal as that impregnable “blue wall” came crashing down on election night when the doomed Democrat lost Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan and those 64 electoral votes that would have put her into the White House.
Now the party is looking to reestablish itself in the Rust Belt as DNC Chairman Tom Perez joined with city officials to make the big announcement.

Democrats are picking Milwaukee as the host city for the Democratic National Convention in 2020, four years after presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s loss in Wisconsin contributed to the election of President Trump.
Clinton was the first Democrat since Walter Mondale to lose Wisconsin to a Republican, and she has taken criticism for not visiting or paying attention to the state.
The decision to put the convention in Milwaukee signals the party’s commitment to retaking Wisconsin in 2020. Democrats got a head start in the state in 2018 when they defeated longtime GOP Gov. Scott Walker.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced Milwaukee had beaten out Houston and Miami to host the convention, which is slated for July 13 through July 16, 2020, and will be held at the Fiserv Forum. The arena was opened last year and is home to the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks.
The DNC noted that this is the first time the party will hold a national convention in the Midwest outside of Chicago since 1916. The party’s convention in 2016 was in Philadelphia.
The capital of Cheesehead Nation has a history steeped in socialism so it would appear to be a logical choice given the direction of the party but may not sit well with the identity-obsessed lunatic fringe that is now the proverbial tail that wags the dog for Democrats.
The choice of Milwaukee does signal that despite her refusal to go away, that many Dems are looking to put the Clinton catastrophe and especially the bitter Hillary in their rearview mirror and at least pretend to reach out to the white working class even though several top candidates including media-anointed frontrunner Kamala Harris are pushing for slave reparations.
As a woman who is obsessed with slights, this amounts to a big poke in the eye and whether it was intentional or not, she is not going to be happy.
