Hate Hoaxer Jussie Smollett Gets Off: Open Thread

Yesterday afternoon, the stunning news came down that the Cook County prosecutors dropped all charges against hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett.

The star of CBS’s hip hop industry series Empire was only weeks ago indicted on sixteen felony counts by a grand jury for his dangerous and despicable January scam in which he orchestrated a bogus hate attack on himself on a sub-freezing Chicago morning which he blamed on Trump supporters wearing red MAGA hats.

Smollett’s story immediately drew skepticism from the police due to a myriad of inconsistencies, the actor’s refusal to turn over his cellphone to authorities and the peculiar absence of any surveillance camera video of the alleged attack.

The entire incident had a very fishy political aroma since the leading two black Democrat presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Cory Booker both referred to the “attack” as a “modern-day lynching” and in Harris’ case, it came only days after the official announcement of her White House run.

The cops continued to investigate and caught a huge break when the two “Nigerian” brothers who Smollett has enlisted to help him perpetrate this flagrant hoax cracked under pressure and sang to authorities.

A Chicago network affiliate also unearthed damning video of the brothers purchasing the materials that were used in the staged attack on Smollett.

Following the actor’s arrest and his removal from scenes from Empire, one would have believed that justice would be done and that he would have been at the very minimum, put on trial as an example for hate hoaxers everywhere.

Only it didn’t go down that way…

But then the notoriously corrupt Chicago Democrat machine dropped the charges and there is a strong suspicion that the corrupt top prosecutor Kim Foxx along with Michelle Obama’s former chief of staff Tina Tchen pulled the necessary strings to carry out this grotesque travesty.

The corrupt machine Democrats then SEALED the case.

More disgusting?

The perp took a victory lap and rubbed the faces of the entire city as well as a stunned nation right in a pile of his own shit.

Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson was blindsided by the dismissal – that the prosecutor’s office didn’t even bother telling cops about before running to the media.

Even Dem Mayor Rahm Emmanuel was outraged:

It’s hard for skeptics to not be suspicious that this case is a massive political scandal that could extend far beyond the Windy City into the national Democratic party as a whole.

PS, In my humble opinion, the Smollett hate crime was planned as part of the Kamala Harris presidential candidacy rollout. Jussie Smollett just did a terrible job at pulling it off and the entire operation went sideways.

It’s hard to argue with him because the Democrats and their media are totally invested in hate hoaxes.
