Meet The ‘Patriotic Millionaires’ Who Want To Pay More Taxes But Don’t For Some Reason

It’s Tax Day which means the left is in overdrive trying to make the idea of keeping more of the money you earn sound like a hate crime against society. NBC did it’s part by profiling a group of rich people known as the “Patriotic Millionaires” who say they should be paying more taxes. They don’t actually pay more taxes, they just think they should and for some reason believe that makes them awesome Americans.

Here’s some dumb shit from NBC:

Karen Seal Stewart is rich. And she wants to pay more in taxes.

Yes, you read that right.

Stewart is one of the Patriotic Millionaires, a group of about 200 wealthy individuals — worth billions combined — who say they should be taxed more, and as soon as possible.

“It’s a matter of equity, fairness and the fact that we have the money to pay the taxes and we’re not being asked to pay them. My sense is we are really at a cusp. We better get our act together because … the lack of fairness and opportunity is growing,” said Stewart.

So it’s not fair that she gets to keep the money she earned? Or that it would be more fair if the money that she earned went to people who didn’t earn it? Boy, those liberals sure have a strange definition of fairness, don’t they?

“We see how the system is skewed in our favor and how that’s really hurting our country, and in the very long run, hurting us, too,” said Patriotic Millionaires chairman Morris Pearl.

Yes, under the current “skewed” system people who earn money are entitled to their money, while people who didn’t earn it have no right to it. Are there any words that liberals know the correct definition of?

For Pearl, it’s about his kids and grandkids being able to “grow up in the same kind of country where I grew up, to have the opportunities I did. And … (they) are not going to have the same opportunities I had if we continue the direction we’re going.”

Super-rich guy worries his privileged kids and grandchildren won’t have any opportunity. Now that is rich. I guess if he really wanted to, he could leave his wealth to his family in a will or something. That way, they’d be rich when he’s dead.

According to the Patriotic Millionaires website, they are…

Proud “traitors to their class,” members of the Patriotic Millionaires are high-net worth Americans, business leaders, and investors who are united in their concern about the destabilizing concentration of wealth and power in America. The mission of The Patriotic Millionaires organization is to build a more stable, prosperous, and inclusive nation by promoting public policies based on the “first principles” of equal political representation, a guaranteed living wage for all working citizens, and a fair tax system…

The group focuses on promoting public policy solutions that encourage political equality, guarantee a sustaining wage for working Americans, and ensure that millionaires, billionaires, and corporations pay their fair share of taxes.

Here’s the thing: There’s nothing stopping these rich assholes from paying more taxes. There’s no law that says you can’t pay more taxes than you owe. The IRS would gladly take big fat checks from wealthy guilty liberal d-bags. Why aren’t these people voluntarily paying higher taxes if this is so important to them? Lead by example.

Beyond that, these rich dicks could simply give their wealth away. There also nothing stopping them from just sending sacks of money to poor people. Again, they aren’t doing this. Why?

The reason is because all liberals, including rich ones, like to tell everyone else how to live, but don’t intend for their bullshit to apply to them: illegal immigrants make our country better, just don’t dump them in liberals’ backyard. Guns are too dangerous for regular folks, but they are fine if used to protect liberals. Sexual assault and racism are bad unless of course liberals are doing.

What do you want to bet that every single one of these Patriotic Millionaires employs a team of accountants to do their taxes and find every single exemption they can? I also wouldn’t surprised if they hide their wealth in offshore accounts to avoid pay any taxes at all.
