The Democratic Party’s flavor of the month just got covered in some rape jimmies. 2020 candidate Pete Buttigieg was hit with a sexual assault accusation. The lucky thing for Mayor Pete is he’s a democrat and gay, so absolutely no one in the liberal media will pay this serious charge any mind. If he were a straight Republican, he’d already be convicted in the leftist court of public opinion, because “believe all accusers” only applies to those who accuse conservatives.
So this thing popped up on Medium today: Pete Buttigieg Sexually Assaulted Me
My name is Hunter Kelly. I am 21 years old. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to do. For the past three nights, I have not slept even a single hour. I have vomited eight times.
I was sexually assaulted by Mayor Pete Buttigieg. I didn’t know who he was back in February, only that he told me he was an important politician. When I started seeing him on television three weeks ago as a Presidential candidate, I thought about coming forward.
I am a gay man. I have been grappling with my identity for a number of years. I live, work, and attend college in rural Michigan. I know that by coming forward, I will make a hard life even harder. But I must do so — I must do so — for my country, for other gay men like me, and most importantly to stop a very bad man from becoming President of the United States.
Kelly doesn’t give any details of the alleged sexual assault, but promises to do so in the future:
In the days and weeks ahead, I will share my full story with the nation.
What’s he waiting for? Michael Avenatti to represent him?
Okay, this accusation has exactly zero details with an equal amount of corroborating evidence. I guess what I’m trying to say is this is about as credible as Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Based on no details or corroboration the democrats almost succeeded in blocking Kavanaugh’s confirmation so can we expect them to derail Buttigieg’s presidential campaign with the same lack of evidence?
Obviously the answer to the question is a big fat no. When someone accuses a democrat of sexual assault they treat it like a politically motived attack on the democrat. It doesn’t matter if the accuser is clearly a liberal as is always the case. Have you heard any stink over the guy who accused Cory Booker of sexual assault? Have you seen the media give any attention to the two women who have accused VA Lt. governor Justin Fairfax of rape? No, you haven’t and that’s because of that magical “D” they both have after their names.
Now if a woman who is a registered democrat, democratic party donor, and liberal activist were to accuse a Republican of sexual assault, liberals would not see that as a politically motivated attack and believe the accuser. The left has a double-standard for everything: racism, sexism, and especially for rape.
Even if this guy accusing Mayor Pete of sexual assault gives further details that can be corroborated by others, the liberal media and the democrats will still dismiss it. Since they figured out that Beto O’Rourke is a dipsshit, Pete Buttigieg has become too important to the democrats to let a little gay rape get in the way.
