Deep State, Deep Fried Democrat Chickens
By Ben Garrison
On Tucker Carlson recently said on his broadcast that he didn’t care if Hillary was locked up. WRONG! I care. A lot of us care. She needs to be held accountable for their crime, which amounts to sedition. Lock her up! Lock them all up!
I want to see them panicking and running around in circles like chickens with their heads cut off. I actually thought that and then I figured it would make a good cartoon. So I drew it. Show them smugly thinking they’re still in control and above the law, but facing justice nonetheless. This is all part of what making America great again means.
I’m not much of a comedian, but cartoons such as this one almost draw themselves. There’s not shortage of good chicken puns, so I indulged myself.
It’s time for the traitors to face justice. Pluck them all! LOCK THEM UP!

Fascinating read from Mueller's former FBI intelligence chief: Comey is in trouble, and he knows it. https://t.co/7hI1uPm4fN

James Comey is in trouble and he knows it
Via The Hill
James Comey’s planet is getting noticeably warmer. Attorney General William Barr’s emissions are the suspected cause.
Barr has made plain that he intends to examine carefully how and why Comey, as FBI director, decided that the bureau should investigate two presidential campaigns and if, in so doing, any rules or laws were broken.
In light of this, the fired former FBI director apparently has decided that photos of him on Twitter standing amid tall trees and in the middle of empty country roads, acting all metaphysical, is no longer a sufficient strategy.
No, Comey has realized, probably too late, that he has to try to counter, more directly, the narrative being set by the unsparing attorney general whose words in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee last week landed in the Trump-opposition world like holy water on Linda Blair. Shrieking heads haven’t stopped spinning since.

Big Media, run by the establishment, invariably seeks to marginalize and curate conservatism on their platforms. This debate used to be about broadcast TV; now it is about social media.https://t.co/Nam8iIzhAh

Kicking People Off Online Platforms Is About Control, Not Free Speech
Via The Federalist
Last week, Facebook banned Alex Jones, InfoWars, Milo Yiannopoulos, Paul Joseph Watson, Laura Loomer, Paul Nehlen, and Louis Farrakhan, setting off further discussion about the scope of free speech on the internet. Yet the debate over de-platforming is much more about control than freedom of speech.
After all, many on the right are ambivalent, caught between the free speech ethos and the “leave private businesses alone” ethos. Moreover, most of the pro-speech people would not argue for pornography to return to Twitter or YouTube, or that disrupting Islamic State recruitment on Facebook is a bad thing.
Instead, de-platforming is the high-tech version of an older complaint on the right: Big Media, run by the establishment, invariably seeks to marginalize and curate conservatism on their platforms. This debate used to be about broadcast TV; now it is about social media.
Similarly, de-platforming supporters may say they are solely concerned with removing only the most toxic actors from the public discourse to prevent harassment and harm to others. If this were true, they would care more about solutions targeting the platforms in the darker corners of the internet, where radicalization and incitement to violence are at their worst.
Furthermore, the establishment’s standards for toxic speakers are as slippery and selectively applied as always, whether on social or traditional media. Granted, Farrakhan is not actively platformed by legacy media companies. He is also sufficiently toxic that Democrats and progressives have tried to keep their relationships with him very hush-hush.

Embedded in Harris' criticism of what's lacking in the larger 2020 debate, is a call for solidarity across all races https://t.co/vEnztoFLEM

Kamala Harris unloads on pundits who say only a white man can beat Trump
Via Politico
The California senator says Democrats will make a big mistake if they accept conventional wisdom on what it takes to win the Rust Belt.
Kamala Harris is waging war on the chattering class.
The California senator and 2020 Democratic hopeful believes the media narrative taking shape in the presidential race over who is best positioned to reclaim the Midwest for Democrats —essentially that only certain voters will back certain candidates, regardless of where they stand on issues — ignores big swathes of the electorate that she can excite, namely African Americans and women.
Harris made clear during a two-day swing through urban and suburban Detroit ending Monday that she thinks the talking heads who draw conclusions from their desks in Washington and New York are ill-informed at best.
“There has been a lot of conversation by pundits about ‘electability’ and ‘who can speak to the Midwest?’ But when they say that, they usually put the Midwest in a simplistic box and a narrow narrative, and too often their definition of the Midwest leaves people out,” Harris said in an opening salvo during the trip. “It leaves out people in this room who helped build cities like Detroit. It leaves out working women who are on their feet all day—many of them working without equal pay.”

Is Bolton Steering Trump Into War with Iran?
By Patrick J. Buchanan
Last week, it was Venezuela in America’s gun sights.
“While a peaceful solution is desirable, military action is possible,” thundered Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. “If that’s what is required, that’s what the United States will do.”
John Bolton tutored Vladimir Putin on the meaning of the Monroe Doctrine: “This is our hemisphere. It’s not where the Russians ought to be interfering.”
After Venezuela’s army decided not to rise up and overthrow Nicholas Maduro, by Sunday night, it was Iran that was in our gun sights.
Bolton ordered the USS Abraham Lincoln, its carrier battle group and a bomber force to the Mideast “to send a clear and unmistakable message to the Iranian regime that any attack on United States interests or those of our allies will be met with unrelenting force.”
What “attack” was Bolton talking about?
According to Axios, Israel had alerted Bolton that an Iranian strike on U.S. interests in Iraq was imminent.
Flying to Finland, Pompeo echoed Bolton’s warning:
“We’ve seen escalatory actions from the Iranians, and … we will hold the Iranians accountable for attacks on American interests. … (If) these actions take place, if they do by some third-party proxy, whether that’s a Shia militia group or the Houthis or Hezbollah, we will hold the … Iranian leadership directly accountable for that.”
Taken together, the Bolton-Pompeo threats add up to an ultimatum that any attack by Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, or Iran-backed militias — on Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE or U.S. forces in Iraq, Syria or the Gulf states — will bring a U.S. retaliatory response on Iran itself.
Did President Donald Trump approve of this?

The Tin Foil Hat Brigade’s Heads Are Exploding over the Thought of King Trump
Via PJ Media
After President Donald Trump retweeted a joke about how his term should be extended two years to make up for the two years stolen by the Mueller investigation, leftist heads exploded (if any leftists are reading this, I don’t literally mean heads exploded — it’s called hyperbole). Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has joined in the fear-mongering by claiming that President Trump won’t accept the outcome of the election if the Democrat nominee narrowly wins. Adding fuel to leftist conspiracy theories, Sarah Kendzior, a frequent on-air contributor for MSNBC, said yesterday morning that “Trump wants to be an autocrat.”
On yesterday’s episode of AM Joy, Kendzior labeled the Trump administration a “criminal enterprise.” She went on to add that “our sovereignty is threatened. Trump’s own people don’t seem to have total control of the government. They’re influenced by outside parties.”
