The way democrats win elections is by convincing people they are victims by removing personal responsibility from the equation and promising them free shit to compensate their suffering. It’s been a pretty effective technique over the years but it requires a constant supply of new victims. Bernie Sanders is on it and invented an entirely new class of victims that he calls “underbanked people of color.” And yes, he’s gonna give them free stuff if they vote for him.
Bernie Sanders and his idiot protege Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are planning to introduce a bill that would ban payday loan companies or something like that. As part of their rollout, they said that the post office should offer free banking services to minorities:

In any case, Bernie sent out this tweet to support his position that banks should be forced to give loans to people who can’t afford to pay them back:

Wait, the banks made record profits off of people of color by discriminating against them and not doing business with them? This guy really doesn’t have a clue how money works. I didn’t do business with almost everyone on the planet last year and for some reason that didn’t translate into me pulling in record profits. Am I doing it wrong?
Actually, now that I think about it, what Sanders is saying is the reason why banks made record profits is because they didn’t do business with millions of minorities because they wouldn’t pay back their loans. I can’t say I disagree, but it seems a little racist coming from a democratic party candidate for president. Putting it bluntly Sanders is saying that people of color are untrustworthy thieves and that banks would lose money if they lent money to them.
If banks would lose money lending to people of color, why does Sanders think the US Post Office would turn a profit or break even? The USPS hemorrhages cash providing an unreliable delivery service. What are the chances they would be a kickass bank?
And the thing is, banks don’t discriminate against people because of the color of their skin, they discriminate against people who don’t have jobs, steady sources of income, collateral, and fixed addresses. There is a set industry standard that grants loans based on a person’s ability to repay that loan.
The real shocker here is that a socialist millionaire doesn’t understand why poor people can’t get free money from a for-profit business. Okay, maybe that’s not all that shocking, but it is funny.
Maybe these underbanked people of color should use the bank Sanders’ wife fraudulently secured a multimillion dollar loan she didn’t repay and bankrupted a college with. Clearly that bank has no problem giving away money to people who can’t possibly pay it back.
Hell, why doesn’t Bernie just use his own personal wealth to extend interest-free loans to random unemployed black people? According to his socialist ideology that money doesn’t belong to him, it’s the people’s money. Somehow I think he’s only a socialist when it comes to other people’s money.
