Democrats Make It Clear Whose Side They’re On As Tensions Escalate With Iran

They hate Trump so much that they are lining up behind the Ayatollah…TRAITORS!

Iran has once again escalated tensions with the shooting down of an unmanned U.S. drone and then bragging about it, practically daring President Trump to retaliate militarily.

The downing of the drone sparked a round of bragging by the Iranians who according to the Pentagon, were caught red-handed in a terrorist attack on two oil tankers near the Straight Of Hormuz last week.

Faced with such provocations from a widely acknowledged state sponsor of terror ruled by a gaggle of mad mullahs, Trump approved and then put on hold a series of retaliatory strikes on the Islamic Republic as the prospect of yet another war in a volatile region weighs heavily on the minds of millions.

The Iranian regime has clearly been emboldened by the ongoing decay of the domestic political system thanks to Democrats who have divided the nation and are busily pouring gasoline on the fire to ignite racial tensions in a cynical grab for the all-important black vote in next years elections.

The evildoers in Iran fully understand that they can rely on their Democrat dupes to obstruct the president and they are eagerly complying with a series of despicable attacks on Trump that many have interpreted as tacit support for the terrorist state.

Front and center – as always – is Speaker Nancy Pelosi who out of hatred for Trump, has further emboldened Iran with her statement that America has “no appetite” for a war.

U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Thursday the United States has no appetite to go to war with Iran, after Tehran shot down a U.S. military surveillance drone in the Gulf region.

Pelosi, the top Democrat in Congress, told reporters that 20 lawmakers will receive a briefing to learn more about the incident.

“I think it’s a dangerous situation,” Pelosi said. “We have to be strong and strategic about how we protect our interests. We also cannot be reckless in what we do, so it will be interesting to see what they have to say.

“I don’t think the president wants to go to war. There’s no appetite for going to war in our country.”

She’s like Neville Chamberlain in a pantsuit.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer demanded that Trump beg for congressional approval for any retaliation in another example of double standards being in effect when the president isn’t named Barack Obama.

Democrats told President Trump in a situation room meeting Thursday he needs to get congressional authorization before taking military action against Iran, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said.

“I told the president that these conflicts have a way of escalating. The president may not intend to go to war here, but we’re worried that — and the administration may bumble into a war,” Schumer told reporters at Capitol Hill after the meeting.

“We told the room that the Democratic position is that congressional approval must be required before funding any conflict in Iran,” he continued. “One of the best ways to avoid bumbling into a war, a war that nobody wants, is to have a robust open debate and for Congress to have a real say. We learned that lesson in the run-up to Iraq.”

You can practically see the wheels turning inside of Cryin’ Chuck’s head on how they could turn a strike on Iran into another justification for impeachment – talk about sleeping with the enemy!

It has already been well established that Democrats can’t be counted on to do ANYTHING in the best interests of America but have now sunk to a new low by siding with Iran.
