Pete Buttigieg isn’t just that gay Alfred E. Newman impersonator running for president, he’s also the mayor of South Bend (over), Indiana. Recently in his city a white police officer shot and killed an armed black thug and outrage ensued. Because Buttigieg is a democrat he is puling himself off the campaign trail to attended a rally/race riot against his own police department. Sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun.
Last Sunday in South Bend, white police Sgt. Ryan O’Neill received a call about someone breaking into cars. As he slowly patrolled a parking lot, he spotted 54-year-old black scumbag Eric Jack Logan leaning inside of a parked car. When O’Neill got out to confront the car burglar, Logan came at the officer with an 8-inch knife raised over his head.
O’Neill fired two shots, one of which struck Logan. The officer tried to render first aid and then rushed Logan to the hospital in his patrol car. The efforts were of no use and Logan was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Naturally because it was a white officer shooting an armed attacking black man there is considerable outrage in the black community. How dare a white police office defend his own life against a violent armed suspect, right?
Logan’s wife, lodged a classic he dindunuffin defense according to The AP:
“I don’t know what happened or what they say — he was breaking into a car? Was that justified for him to shoot and kill him about breaking in a car?” Shafonia Logan asked.
Yeah, Shafonia.
Shafonia Logan said that she never knew her husband to carry a knife or a gun and that he was afraid of police officers.
And yet:
Logan was released from prison in June 2018 after serving a sentence for a 2009 St. Joseph County conviction on three felony counts of dealing cocaine or narcotics, according to Indiana Department of Correction records. He had other convictions since 1988 on drug possession and handgun violation charges.
If he never carried a gun, how’d he get those convictions for handgun violations?
In any case, there is an anti-cop rally in South Bend on Friday night and as The Hill reports, there will be a very special attendee:
Presidential candidate and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) will not attend Rep. James Clyburn’s (D-S.C.) candidate fish fry this weekend, and will instead stay in his city for a march following a police-involved shooting last week.
Buttigieg’s campaign confirmed to The Hill that the mayor will travel from Miami — where he will be attending the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) conference — to South Bend for the march on Friday evening.
The Hill doesn’t specifically say this will be an anti-cop rally, but is there anyone who thinks it’s going to be a pro-cop rally? Seriously, the mayor of South Bend is going to participate in a rally/march against his own police department. What an asshole.
I wonder if Mayor Pete is prepared to torch police cars, destroy city property, and loot the Walmart, because that’s what a “justice march” is.
When this turns into a race riot, and it will, I suspect the men and women of the South Bend police department are not going to kill themselves to save Buttigieg’s ass as he’s beaten to pulp for being a honky. They probably won’t let him die, but I doubt they’ll rush in right away to stop the pummeling.
