A McDonald’s manager in Tennessee was attacked, beaten, and hit with a stun gun by a crazed minority woman because he voted for Donald Trump. This seems shocking, or normal for liberals, but there are several twists in this story. First, the manager never voted for Trump, he was too young at the time and second, the victim is a gay black man. This is what happens when intersectionality becomes a hate crime.
WREG reports that 19-year-old Jacob Jordan is the night manager at a Brownsville, TN McDonald’s. On Sunday night there were more than a few cars in the drive-thru and the orders were slow to come out. A couple of cars started honking their horns because people gots to have they McNuggets.
Jordon explained calmly that honking the horn was not helpful.
“I said, ‘Hey, I’m the manager, and you’re disrespecting me and the customers behind you by laying on the horn. We can refuse to serve you because you’re being disruptive,'” said Jordan.
That’s when horn-honker Marquenta Glidwell got out of her car and angrily approached the Drive-thru window.
“She grabs me by my hair, pulls me out of the window. That’s when she has the taser, trying to go for my throat, punching me in my face, punching me in my eyes. Just beating me,” Jordan said.
Not actually a Taser, but a stun gun, Glidwell zapped Jordan in the neck.
“At first we thought it was just scratch marks from her fingers until you look at the video, and you can clearly see her trying to jam the taser into my throat,” said Jordan.
Glidwell also threw her credit card at Jordan and threatened to kill the young man. When he wanted to know why she was unleashing such fury, this is what he was told:
“Saying that because I voted for Trump I deserved this,” said Jordan.
But the joke’s on her because…
“I wasn’t even old enough to vote when he ran,” Jordan said.
Okay, maybe the joke wasn’t on Glidwell, Jordan is the one that got beaten and shocked, but she did eventually get arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
I’ve looked at the picture of Glidwell longer than I care to and I can’t quite figure out what race she is. She could be black, maybe Hispanic, possibly Afro-Latina. Her his name sounds kind of Hispanic, but it has an ebonics spin to it. She was at McDonald’s and beat the shit to of somebody because her order was taking to long, so most likely she’s black.
I don’t know that this matters. The liberal media is not going to pay attention to a woman of color attacking someone she thought was a Trump supporter because it doesn’t fit their narrative. They would jump on a gay black guy being assault if it wasn’t for the fact that the attacker was also a minority. This needed to be a white assailant for any kind of media coverage and that simply wasn’t the case.
Jordan’s mother would like to see Glidwell charged with a hate crime and if that happens it would go on the books as such, but would be used in statistics that “prove” hatred is on the rise in the Age of Trump. It won’t matter that this was an anti-Trump attack. They don’t ask how or why, just what. And the “what” is a hate crime attack against a minority.
