Irritating freshmen Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is in an epic battle with Hosue Speaker Nancy Pelosi over control of the democratic party agenda. This conflict had its first war crime yesterday when AOC accused Pelosi of being a racist and picking on her because she is a “woman of color.” Another democrat, a black one at that, just carpet-bombed AOC for playing the race card, calling her and her merry band of idiots juvenile and ignorant. Your move AOC.
After Pelosi held a meeting with her caucus to tell members to stop attacking each other publicly, AOC attacked Pelosi publicly by calling her a racist.
“When these comments first started, I kind of thought that she was keeping the progressive flank at more of an arm’s distance in order to protect more moderate members, which I understood, but the persistent singling out … it got to a point where it was just outright disrespectful … the explicit singling out of newly elected women of color,” said Ocasio-Cortez said of Pelosi.
Race card played.
The Hill reports that Missouri Rep. Lacy Clay, who happens to be black, has had enough of AOC and her bullshit.
“What a weak argument, because you can’t get your way and because you’re getting pushback you resort to using the race card? Unbelievable. That’s unbelievable to me,” said Clay. “It shows you how weak their argument is when they have to resort and direct racist accusations toward Speaker Pelosi … it’s very disappointing to me.”
Clay wasn’t quite done unloading. He also went after AOC’s chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti:
Chakrabarti last week sent out a tweet comparing centrist Democrats to “new Southern Democrats” that “certainly seem hell bent to do to black and brown people today what the old Southern Democrats did in the 40s.”
“It shows you how ignorant and little history [Chakrabarti] knows, how ignorant he is to American history. How dare he,” Clay said.
Plus Clay went after progressive group The Justice Democrats which props up AOC and her “Squad” of idiots Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib:
“They’re missing the fact that we have a very thin margin of a majority that we’re operating under and apparently it doesn’t matter to Justice Democrats, they just want to get skins. They want to score points for whatever reason. But I find it juvenile, their tactics, I find their ignorance to be beyond belief about American history and about who are really segregationists. And so how dare they try to play the race card at this point, it shows you the weakness of their arguments,” said Clay.
Well, actually the democrats were the segregationists and Nancy Pelosi, as an ancient democrat herself, is almost certainly racist, but that doesn’t mean this thing isn’t hilarious. The democratic party is coming undone before our very eyes because a dipshit cocktail waitress managed to get elected to Congress. Obama almost killed off the democratic party, but it’s possible AOC’s election is the real extinction event for them.
In the meantime, whatever AOC’s reaction is to Lacy Clay is going to be hysterical. He’s a black guy that gave her shit for crying racism, so obviously she’s going to accuse him of racism. She may throw in some crap about sexism, but for sure she’ll throw the entire deck of race cards at him.
