Proving once again that MSNBC doesn’t have a monopoly on crackpot conspiracy theories, the sad remnants of what was once a respectable news organization continues its sad decline.
The tinfoil hats were in abundance on the set of CNN’s Sunday morning edition of “Reliable Sources” with Brian Stelter as the hysterical host gave airtime to Democrat strategist Tara Dowdell who had her own take on the “send her back” chant at last weeks Trump rally.
According to Dowdell, the chant that has generated days of screaming accusations that the president and his supporters are all racists was an orchestrated act and suggested that it is Trump himself who was behind it.
Without any proof to support her claims, Dowdell called for an investigation, a now-standard tactic in a party that seems to have a fondness for the bad old Soviet Union along with its show trials and political persecutions.
Not that Stelter would ever get in the way of a good conspiracy theory but this is really taking nutjobbery to another level and his lack of journalistic ethics are a disgrace to the profession.

Via The Washington Examiner, “CNN guest floats theory that Trump planned ‘send her back’ chants”:
Liberal commentator Tara Dowdell said the chant that broke out at the president’s June 17 rally when he was criticizing Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar was “suspicious.” Dowdell appeared on CNN’s Reliable Sources on Sunday and pushed her theory, saying investigators should look into the chant’s source.
“That so-called extemporaneous chant of ‘send her back’ by the audience seems pretty suspicious because, typically, that type of thing is organized,” Dowdell said. “When you see chants in audiences, a lot of times it’s either someone is stoking it from back stage or off-stage, or there are people in the audience who have been sort of planted to do those things.”
“I think that people should actually look into that as well, because this all seems, I think Trump is far more calculating than people make him out to be,” Dowdell concluded.
Dowdell’s claims have become a part of the official talking points and were repeated over on MSNBC where notorious race hustler hosted disgraced former White House aide and disgruntled employee Omarosa Manigault also chimed in.

Both women are former contestants on “The Apprentice” so they have an ax to grind with Trump and let’s face it, there is money to be made in the racial grievance industry these days regardless of how much harm that such divisive nonsense does to the country.
Sad days indeed at the once venerable CNN, the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news” because anything resembling actual news is practically nonexistent. It makes one long for the good old days when the network was plowing all of its resources into missing airplanes and tracking down missing teenagers.
Despite falling ratings, CNN is hellbent at getting Trump even if they burn down their own house in the process and thanks to clowns like Brian Stelter and his shameless promotion of outlandish conspiracies that day is closer than they might imagine.
