STABBED IN THE BACK! Schumer Doesn’t Support Impeachment

A betrayal of the foulest nature…

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has temporarily beaten back calls from radicals in his own caucus who have demanded that the top Democrat throw his support behind the push for impeachment.

Schumer has come out and announced that he’s with Nancy Pelosi who he said was handling the process “appropriately” despite extreme pressure.

Speaker Pelosi has had to tread a delicate line as the House is teeming with angry mutineers who despite seeing Mueller fall flat on his face last week, are still demanding that she move forward with launching the impeachment against President Trump.

Following a wave of House Democrats from Washington State jumping onto the impeachment bandwagon, the state’s influential U.S. Senator Patty Murray joined them with a call to get about with the hanging.

Murray was soon joined by Trump-hating Michigander Debbie Stabenow who is also ready to rile with more soon to follow.

It marks a breakthrough for the mob in that for the first time, Senate Democrats are lobbying Pelosi to move forward despite zero evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors and to throw caution to the wind because they know that they can’t beat Trump fair and square in next November’s election.

Even though Schumer has quarreled with Pelosi – specifically over the border security funding bill – as she strains to keep the choke chain on “The Squad” gave her a rare bit of breathing room by voicing his support for his counterpart in the lower chamber.

According to Schumer: “I believe that Speaker Pelosi is handling this appropriately” when pressed to comment on the pressure from Murray and the others.

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday said he supports Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) decision to hold back on a formal impeachment inquiry against President Trump, despite growing support from members of his leadership team for impeachment proceedings.

“I believe that Speaker Pelosi is handling this appropriately,” Schumer said when asked if he would change his position and support the launch of impeachment proceedings after one of his top deputies, Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.), called for a formal House impeachment inquiry Sunday.

Murray is the third-ranking member of Senate Democratic leadership, and her call for House impeachment proceedings was immediately followed Monday by Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), the Senate Democratic Policy Committee chairwoman, in doing the same.

Schumer, however, has been careful not to undercut Pelosi’s resistance to a formal impeachment inquiry, despite pressure from within his own caucus.

Schumer is a lot of things but he isn’t stupid and he knows that caving to the fanatics on impeachment – which is doomed in the GOP-controlled Senate – will most certainly hand reelection to President Trump on a silver platter.

Also, as “Wall Street’s senator,” the last thing that Schumer wants is to see the socialist hordes gain control of his party because it would be very bad for business with his real constituents who are the ones who write the big checks.

The high rollers must be getting nervous especially after watching Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders vowing to shake them down to fund their socialist programs and now in an ironic twist of fate, they find that Trump is the only thing standing between them and the barbarians who are storming the gates.
