The latest liberal faux outrage is that President Trump allegedly extorted the Ukraine by threatening to withhold military aide if the country didn’t investigate Joe Biden’s son Hunter. Without a hint of self-awareness California Rep. “Little” Adam “Shifty Pencil-neck Schitt” Schiff (he has a lot of nicknames) is threatening to defund the U.S. Intelligence Community if they don’t help him impeach President Trump. Going on zero evidence, Schiff is accusing the President of extorting for political gain and at the same time he’s extorting for political gain.
Last week the liberal media went wild with speculation that President Trump demanded that Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy investigate Hunter Biden’s dealings with a natural gas company as well as Joe Biden’s role in stopping a previous investigation. Allegedly Trump threatened to withhold U.S. Military aide if the Ukraine didn’t conduct this investigation. The proof that this ever happened is that the liberal media says it did and nothing more.
This all started because the intelligence inspector general informed Congress that a whistleblower complaint had been lodged against President Trump. The inspector general did not disclose the nature of this complaint and the only information on the subject that we know for sure is that this whistleblower did not have first-hand knowledge of whatever he or she was bitching about.
Trump has denied any wrong doing, which is more proof on the left that he is guilty. Democrats are screaming for impeachment and demanding that the Intelligence Community release the transcript from Trump’s July 25th phone call with Ukraine president Zelenskiy as well as the whistleblower complaint.
And then suddenly, Adam Schiff. The conspiracy theorist democrat was on CNN’s State of the Union with Jake Tapper to prove he learned nothing from the Russian collusion debacle. After saying he has no proof that anything the President is alleged to have done is true, Schiff called it the worst thing anyone has ever done:
“This, I think, would be the most profound violation of the presidential oath of office, certainly during this presidency, which says a lot, but perhaps during any presidency,” said Schiff.
Which can only mean one thing: impeachment!
“[Impeachment] may be the only remedy that is co-equal to the evil that conduct represents,” Schiff said.
And to help Schiff and democrats impeach President Trump, he intends to put the thumbscrews to the Intelligence Community.
“We’re going to make sure we get that complaint,” said Schiff of the whistleblower complaint.
Jack Tapper then asked if Schiff would consider defunding the intelligence committee to force them to turn over the whistleblower complaint and the transcript from Trump’s called with the Ukraine President. Schiff said he would definitely do that.
“In this case, you have the office of the director of national intelligence that is withholding this complaint in violation of the clear letter of the law… And there are funding requests that that office makes that don’t go directly to national security that we can withhold,” said Schiff, calling it a “blunt remedy.”
There is no way to misinterpret what Schiff is saying here: he is threatening to defund the intelligence committee if they don’t provide him with evidence he thinks will help him impeach the President of the United States.
I’m no fancy-ass lawyer, but that sure sounds like extortion to me. That it comes from a member of the U.S. Congress and is directed against the President makes it sound an awful lot like treason as well.
