I don’t like to gloat (yeah, I do) but I called this one last week. A black girl who attends the private Christian school where VP Mike Pence’s wife Karen teaches claimed that 3 white boys held her down and cut off her dreadlocks in a hate crime attack on campus. As I’m sure the headline has already tipped you off, this was a complete fabrication. Once again the liberal media falls for a hate crime hoax. Let’s see if they put as much effort reporting the lie as they did the initial claim.
Last Friday Def-Con News brought you the story of 12-year-old Amari Allen, a student at Immanuel Christian School in Fairfax, VA, where Karen Pence teaches art part-time. This young girl, who is black, said that 3 white boys at the school grabbed her, used derogatory language, and then cut off her dreadlocks.
The big red flag for me in the story was that she hadn’t actually had any of her dreadlocks cut off. I know I like to think I’m a master-debunker, but this was easy to see. Not so much for the liberal media who had a collective fainting spell over this “hate crime” especially since they were able to implicate Karen Pence somehow.
Just like every other high-profile hate crime, after the initial outrage, the story fell apart. This is from FOX5:
A 12-year-old Virginia girl’s claim that she’d been held down by three classmates who cut her dreadlocks was a hoax, according to school officials.
The alleged incident was reported at the Immanuel Christian School in the Annandale area last week.Amari Allen – who is African American – told local media that the haircutting was the culmination of a series of bullying incidents involving the same group of students.
Along with the haircutting, she said the boys took her lunch every day and ate it in front of her.
School principal Stephen Danish released a statement:
“We can now confirm that the student who accused three of her classmates of assault has acknowledged that the allegations were false. We’re grateful to the Fairfax County Police Department for their diligent work to investigate these allegations. While we are relieved to hear the truth and bring the events of the past few days to a close, we also feel tremendous pain for the victims and the hurt on both sides of this conflict. We recognize that we now enter what will be a long season of healing,” wrote Danish.
Wait, so the girl who lied about this is a victim too? How does that work?
Amari Allen’s family also released a statement:
“To those young boys and their parents, we sincerely apologize for the pain and anxiety these allegations have caused. To the administrators and families of Immanuel Christian School, we are sorry for the damage this incident has done to trust within the school family and the undue scorn it has brought to the school. To the broader community, who rallied in such passionate support for our daughter, we apologize for betraying your trust,” wrote Allene’s grandparents.
When will the liberal media apologize to Karen Pence, since they implied she had something to do with this? We probably shouldn’t hold our breath on that one.
In case anyone from the liberal media is reading this (and why wouldn’t they?) here’s a couple of handy tips from sniffing out a hate crime hoax:
Anytime a person of color claims white guys in MAGA hats attacked, it’s a lie.
Anytime a Mulsim girl claims white guys in MAGA hats snatched her hijab, it never happened.
When a gay black man claims white guys shouted “MAGA” while trying to lynch him and he still has a piece of rope around his neck when the police show up hours later, it is an obvious hoax.
And most of all, if a black girl claims white boys cut off her dreadlocks but her dreadlocks haven’t been cut off, it’s a fabrication.
On the other hand, if there is clear video of a mob of black people beating the hell out of a white guy while shouting racial slurs, that is an actual hat crime and feel free to report it as such.
