Trump Derangement Syndrome now has an army and it’s as sad as you can imagine. Hollywood Z-listers Tom Arnold, Rosie O’Donnell, and Alyssa Milano have formed some kind of anti-Trump Resistance force known as the “Impeachment Taskforce.” It’s unclear what these liberal kooks intend to do with this special-ed forces unit, but chances are it will be hilarious.
And speaking of funny, here’s something Newsweek was proud to report:
As President Donald Trump attacks House Democrats heading an impeachment inquiry of him, The Democratic Coalition is countering with a new “Impeachment Task Force” studded with liberal celebrities to protect lawmakers seeking to hold Trump “accountable for his betrayal of America.”
The task force, designed to lead rapid response to Trump during the impeachment inquiry, has confirmed members including comedian Rosie O’Donnell; actors Tom Arnold, Ron Perlman and George Takei; and actresses Debra Messing and Alyssa Milano, The Democratic Coalition’s co-founder Scott Dworkin told Newsweek. The task force launched a fundraising effort and basic plan on Thursday. The group has already started meeting and is set to go live with its website next week.
It’s a veritable who’s who of Hollywood TDS sufferers. This is the saddest collection of crybaby losers since…that’s an impossible sentence to finish because there really has never been a sadder collection of crybaby losers. The only question is: Where are Bette Midler, Cher, and Chelsea Handler? They are every bit as unhinged as these nuts and share a deep hatred for the will of the American people.
The purpose of this “Impeachment Taskforce” appears to be to help Congressional democrats in swing districts defend their seats against Republican challengers. First, that doesn’t have anything to do with impeaching President Trump and second, and most importantly, Hollywood doesn’t have the best track record in getting democrats elected in red states. Beto O’Rourke and Stacey Abrams can attest to that.
Hell, Alyssa Milano single-handily gave every special election since Trump was elected over to the Republicans. She actually has a curse named after her for tanking so many democrats with her support. The real purpose of this Resistance fighting unit is to give control of the House back to the Republicans and guarantee 4 more years of President Trump. These Hollywood liberals are just too wrapped up in their hysteria to notice.
The task force, which projects having 100 celebrities and more than 1,000 other members by next week, plans to spread hashtags to streamline impeachment information, combat disinformation and reach out to Congress through letters and phone calls.
So they’re going to have 100 celebrities by next week? That’s awesome because currently they have zero.
Stocking this “Impeachment Taskforce” with has-beens and never-weres is positively brilliant because it completely eliminates the possibility of blowback. How can Trump supporters boycott the work of people who have no work?
Scott Dworkin, the “mastermind” behind this, had previously started an anti-Trump pseudo-celebrity brigade to stop him from winning the 2016 election:
But Dworkin, who ran the Artists Against Trump group with more than 100 actors and musicians in 2016, believes the coalition’s task force “will without a doubt, absolutely, overpower Trump’s propaganda machine.”
Clearly Artists Against Trump helped get him elected in 2016 and the Impeachment Taskforce is going to get him reelected in 2020. Thanks Hollywood for making American Great Again and Keeping America Great for the future.
