Rashida Tlaib Admits Democrats Are Trying To Figure Out How To Arrest Trump Administration

Apparently Rashida Tlaib hasn’t been paying attention to how badly the democrats’ already shaky case for impeaching President Trump has been falling apart. The Michigan Rep. told a crowd that she and her fellow House democrats are trying to figure out a way to arrest the President and members of his administration. Tlaib also hasn’t been paying attention to the Constitutional separation of powers if she thinks Congress has the authority to make arrests and enforce the law.

In the video, some black guy asked Tlaib a question (maybe) and said something about getting marshals to “hunt those guys down.” Presumably this was a question related to the democrats’ efforts to impeach President Trump for no good reason as well as going after members of his administration.

“This is the last conference conversation we had. Do you know that this is really unprecedented? This is the first time we’ve had a situation like this. So we’re trying to figure out, no joke, they’re trying to figure out, ‘well is it the D.C. police who comes get them?” Tlaib said.

It sure sounds like a joke. A member of the House of Representatives is saying that she and her caucus are looking into having the Washington D.C. Metropolitan police arrest the President and members of his administration, none of whom have been convicted or formally accused of a crime. Actually what that sounds like is a coup, which of course is treason.

Tlaib is damn serious about this arresting the President thing. She told a rambling non-quoteworthy story about how she was asking democrats on her committee how they would go about arresting the President. She also said that the democrats were thinking about where to imprison Trump and his administration once they arrested them.

Clearly Rashida Tlaib is a big fan of Def-Con News, so here’s a quick review for her of the separation of powers as defined by the U.S. Constitution, something she took an oath to uphold:

The Legislative Branch (Congress) makes the laws, the Executive Branch (President) enforces the laws, and the Judicial Branch (Supreme Court) interprets the laws.

Congress does not have the power to arrest someone, even for contempt of Congress. This is something that would be referred to the Justice Department, which is part of the Executive Branch, AKA the ones who actually enforce the law.

The problem the democrats have here, well one of them, is that they are trying to overthrow the Executive Branch on made-up charges and chances are they can’t count on the Justice Department to arrest itself for fairytale crimes.

The biggest issue here is that the House democrats are trying to give themselves powers they don’t have. They do have the power to impeach President Trump and members of his cabinet. The cases would then go to the Senate where the upper chamber would vote yes or no to remove Trump and members of his administration from office. What Tlaib and the Democrats are trying to do is skip the Senate trial, convict Trump of imaginary crimes, and then throw him in prison. That’s simply not how this works.

The case for impeachment against President Trump is based entirely on a lie orchestrated by democrat Adam Schiff. With Rashida Tlaib admitting that the House democrats are not investigating anything because they’ve already decided on Trump’s guilt, this is nothing short of treason. It may sloppy, pathetic, and doomed to fail but it is nonetheless a coup attempt.
