Human frowny-face John Brennan says the the United States is corrupt and no longer a democracy under “autocrat” Donald Trump. Actually what Obama’s former C.I.A. director said was that if he was still running the show he would rate America as a former-democracy under the control of a dictator. There are not enough words to describe how lucky we are this deep-state stooge was fired and is now scowling on NBC instead of heading our country’s intelligence gathering operations.
Brennan was on Meet the Press with “sleepy eyes” Chuck Todd who opened the segment defending the former-CIA head from appropriate criticism. The fluff-piece then focused on how Donald Trump has destroyed everything and here is Brennan’s “proof” that the President has abused the powers of his office:
“It all goes back to Mr. Trump and his dishonesty and his complete obliteration of the norms of honesty in terms of his public statements. He is the one who started the ‘birther’ conspiracy as far as Barack Obama was concerned,” said Brennan.
Feel free to watch the clip because this is the only example Brennan cites to “prove” that Trump is a lair who abuses the office of the presidency and has destroyed our democracy.
This is important, because Brennan actually lied here. It wasn’t Trump who started the rumors that Obama wasn’t born in the United States, it was Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2008. Trump didn’t come close to starting it, though he did demand that Obama release his birth certificate, but that was nearly a decade before he was inaugurated. How is it possible for Trump to abuse a position years before he had that position?
Brennan didn’t explain this and Todd wasn’t about to question him on it. Instead, there was this completely absurd exchange:
“One of the things I used to do when I had to travel overseas professionally is read those CIA, the public fact sheets and CIA descriptions of politics and what’s happening in that country. How would the CIA assess the stability of the American government right now?” Todd asked.
“We would look at it as a very corrupt government that is under the sway right now of this powerful individual who has been able to just corrupt the institutions and the laws of that country. It’s no longer a democracy if an autocrat has it in his hands,” replied Brennan.
What a joke this guy is. How in the hell was he ever in charge of the CIA?
“There is just tremendous political instability here, which is consuming the government now. It’s not able to take care of the issues that it need to address, whether it be on the domestic front or the foreign policy front. So yes, I think there is a real question about the stability,” Brennan added.
In the “expert” opinion of a guy who unsuccessfully tried to overthrow the freely-elected President of the United States, our country is an unstable former-democracy in the hands of an unaccountable dictator.
Leftist clowns like Brennan say this crap about Trump all the time: He’s destroying democracy. He’s undermining the Constitution. He’s subverting our institutions and and perverting our norms. Oh yeah? How? Give us an example of President Trump doing any of these things? They can’t do it because it’s a hysterical crock of shit.
If Trump is an autocrat, why did he allow the 2018 midterm elections in which the democrats took control of the House of Representatives? Do dictators let their political opponents win power through the electoral process? If so, that’s a pretty crappy dictator.
Along those same lines, why hasn’t Trump cancelled the 2020 election and arrested all of the democrats for treason? Why is John Brennan on NBC lying about the President instead of rotting in a prison dungeon? If Trump were truly as Brennan says, he would have been “disappeared” a long time ago the way critics of the Clintons cease to exist.
