CNN Fact-Checkers Don’t Want You To Think The Taliban Would Hang A Man From A Helicopter

Joe Biden has lied about everything involving Afghanistan from the start of his catastrophe and CNN fact-chekced none of it. They are a bit concerned that people might think the Taliban are the types of monsters who would hang a man from a helicopter, so they’ve issued a major fact-check regarding a viral video showing the terrorists lynching someone from a Black Hawk, gifted to them by Biden.

Yesterday, Def-Con News shared a video from the Taliban’s propaganda network showing a man being lynched from a seized Black Hawk helicopter. In an unexpected move, Twitter has suspended the Talib Times account and that video is no longer available. The internet is forever so, there are other versions of it:

Notice that disclaimer from Twitter that this video is being taken out of context? That’s because the liberal media has decided it’s really important that no one get the idea the Taliban are brutal terrorists.

Here’s CNN “fact-checking” the video to own the conservatives:

Numerous Republicans, including Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas, promoted a false claim on Monday and Tuesday that the Taliban had just executed a man by hanging him from a helicopter.

Cruz and Crenshaw, among other conservatives, shared a video that had been tweeted by a self-described “comedian” who goes by the Twitter handle @Holbornlolz. The video, which was somewhat blurry, showed a man dangling from a rope attached to a helicopter. The “comedian” inaccurately captioned the video: “Taliban hanging someone from a helicopter in Kandahar.”

Facts First: Nobody was executed on the Kandahar helicopter flight depicted in the viral videos. Other footage shows that the man dangling from the helicopter was wearing a harness around his body, not a noose around his neck, and that he was moving freely — even appearing to wave.

CNN doesn’t provide this “other footage” that shows the man hanging from a harness and waving, but the source of their “fact-check” appears to be an article on pro-Muslim site Alt News. They claim that the man hanging from the helicopter was alive and trying to hang a Taliban flag on a flag pole.

Here’s the picture they say shows the man is in a harness and not hanging from the neck:

Not quite sure what I’m supposed to see in that shot. Also, is that a giant frog jumping over the hanged man? If so, does this mean the Taliban have weaponized amphibians of unusual size?

Then here’s the video that allegedly shows the man was trying to hang a flag on a flag pole:

All I see is a guy dangling from a rope underneath a moving helicopter. If there is any movement, that can be chalked up to the fact that before rigor mortis sets in, dead bodies are flexible and can move around when, say for instance, they are jerked and jolted by a flying helicopter.

Here’s Alt News’ conclusion based on this less-than-compelling evidence:

Media outlets and journalists carried erroneous reports claiming that an American interpreter was hanged to death on a Black Hawk helicopter by the Taliban. The man was a member of the Taliban and he was trying to install the outfit’s flag on poles. He wasn’t hanged but suspended from a harness. It is also noteworthy that the US Department of Defence is yet to comment on the video therefore it could not be ascertained that the helicopter was indeed a Black Hawk.

The one piece of indisputable evidence in any of the videos is that it is a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter but Alt News can’t be sure of that?

For this fact-check to have any validity, we must buy into the idea that the Taliban figured out how to fly a Black Hawk because they couldn’t figure out how to use a flag pole. Seriously, the premise here is that rather than lower the existing flag and replace it with a Taliban flag, these cave-dwelling troglodytes flew in a helicopter to the top in an attempt to switch out flags.

Even if this footage doesn’t show the Taliban lynching a dude with a Black Hawk, so what? Does that make them somehow less brutal? CNN and the entire liberal media “fact-cheking” this is them saying, “Ted Cruz won’t get away with defaming the good name of the Taliban.”
