Democrat Adam Schiff’s sham impeachment inquiry got off to a sad but predictable start on Wednesday. As the public hearings phase of the coup attempt began, the House Intelligence Committee chair kicked things off with the lie that he doesn’t know the identity of the whistleblower. Shifty Schiff of course met with the whistleblower and coached him on how to frame President Trump for imaginary crimes, but somehow he doesn’t know who this deepstate operative is? BS.
Fox News reports that as Schiff was lying his way through an opening statement, Republican Jim Jordan interjected with a simple request:
“Do you anticipate when we might vote on the ability to have the whistleblower in front of us… [Out of] the 435 members of Congress, you are the only member who knows who that individual is. And your staff is the only staff of any member of Congress who’s had a chance to talk with that individual. We would like that opportunity. When might that happen in this proceeding today?” Jordan asked.
Schiff, being Schiff, answered with a lie and accused Jordan of lying in the process:
“First, as the gentleman knows, that’s a false statement. I do not know the identity of the whistleblower and I’m determined to make sure that identity is protected. But as I said… you’ll have an opportunity after the witnesses testify to make a motion to subpoena any witness and compel a vote,” Schiff replied.
There’s actually quite a bit of BS in Schiff’s answer. He knows exactly who the whistleblower is so Jordan’s statement is not false. Also, Schiff forbade Republicans from mentioning the whistleblower in these sham hearings so he’s lying that Jordan will have an opportunity to call the whistleblower as a witness.
Schiff tips his hand with his own words here. How can he protect the whistleblower if he doesn’t know the identity of the whistleblower. That doesn’t even make “liberal sense.”
It’s a verified fact that Schiff and his staff met with the whistleblower prior to the complaint filed that President Trump tried to trade foreign aid to Ukraine in exchange for investigations into the Bidens and 2016 election interference. Schiff coached the whistleblower on how to file this complaint and helped the whistleblower lawyer-up. This entire impeachment scam was orchestrated from the beginning by Adam Schiff so, yes, who knows who one of the pawns in his scheme is.
Democrats, being duplicitous weasels, have a way stating things that are false, but yet also technically true. When Schiff says he doesn’t know the identity of the whistleblower, he may skate on technicality because the whistleblower is actually a deep state operative and a leaker. Get it? Schiff doesn’t know who the whistleblower is because there is no whistleblower, only a rat.
If Jordan had framed his question about calling “the person who filed the whistleblower complaint” instead of just saying “whistleblower” Schiff would have had to choose his words more carefully. Then again, Schiff has been lying about this entire affair since the beginning, so maybe he doesn’t actually care about getting caught spreading manure. He’s counting on the liberal media propaganda machine to cover his ass.
This however is the most appropriate way to start off a sham impeachment inquiry. You don’t began a farce with truth and facts. That would seem weird.
