Early Polls On Impeachment Indicate Dems Have Lost Independent Voters

The shit souffle is rapidly collapsing…

Could it be that the Schiff is about to hit the fan for impeachment-crazed Democrats?

According to multiple polls, the ongoing farce in the House Of Representatives and the Adam Schiff-Nancy Pelosi inquisition isn’t sitting well with the independent voters who cost Hillary the election in 2016.

Rather than craft an appeal to the disillusioned white working-class voters in the Rust Belt, Democrats have spent the last three years harping on conspiracy theories leading up to Schiff’s Soviet-style hearings.

And the early indications are that impeachment is going to blow up in their faces like one of Bill Clinton’s trick cigars.

How dire is the Dems’ dilemma?

Even the far-left elitist publication Vanity Fair is sounding the alarm bells after a Gallup poll showed a blip of support for impeachment with the crucial voting bloc but hey, Schiff happens.

Alas, for the Democrats, the promising numbers of late October and early November rapidly dissipated, and polling numbers have reverted to a level more consistent with long-term opinions on President Trump. In the latest Politico/Morning Consult poll, released on November 19, Independents opposed impeachment and removal from office 46% to 39%, a number close to the rolling averages of the last few weeks.

To understand the relative lack of enthusiasm among Independents for impeachment, I took a close look at data from the most recent Politico/Morning Consult tracking poll, a poll in which the Hive had the opportunity to propose questions focused on Independents and their views. The data, along with supplementary interviews, illustrates an electorate that believes the impeachment inquiry is connected to the priorities of politicians and the media—not of ordinary voters—and an electorate confused and dispirited by the nonstop parade of Washington scandals.

AND

Independents see impeachment as a continuation of the partisan bickering and media excess that began even before his inauguration. By massive margins, Independents say that the impeachment issue is “more important to politicians than it is to me” (62% to 22%) and “more important to the media than it is to me” (61% to 23%). It is hard to read this as anything but a warning to the Democratic leadership and candidates: Stop talking about issues that matter to you, not to me.

Additional polls have grim news for Democrats, according to a Siena College Research Institute poll of New York independents, they oppose impeachment by an impressive 59-37 percent.

Another recent poll by Marquette Law School has Trump beating ALL 2020 Democrats in the all-important state of Wisconsin although it wasn’t important enough to Team Hillary who avoided America’s dairyland state like the Ebola virus and paid dearly.

Things aren’t likely to improve for Democrats whose fanaticism has already wrecked Thanksgiving dinner for millions of Americans and who are about to deposit manure in the Christmas stockings of those same voters with their formal vote on impeachment next month.

It could be that Democrats have once again underestimated the intelligence of the American public outside of their own base and it is pretty clear that they have been determined to impeach President Trump since the day after the 2016 election.

At this stage, it is probably too late to change course before the clown car hits the wall and bursts into flames in a spectacular wreck that could consume the Democratic party  as a legitimate political entity.
