With the regular season winding down it is now a certainty that Colin Kaepernick is not going to find gainful employment in the NFL this year.
The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback who was transformed into a messianic figure by the media when he decided to spit on the troops and dishonor America by kneeling during the playing of the national anthem three years ago had his big chance to land a job but once again, he blew it.
The heavily hyped workout for 25 NFL teams last Saturday was turned into a publicity stunt when at the last minute, Kaepernick moved the location over 50 miles away to a high school where he could use his own film crew and then for good measure, showed up wearing a Kunta Kinte shirt to make the ridiculous political statement that he is a slave or something.
Kaepernick is wearing a t-shirt with “Kunta Kinte” across the front (the name of the slave forced to change his name to “Toby” after multiple lashings in the miniseries “Roots”) at his workout.
Because the multi-millionaire at a literal job interview is just like a slave. pic.twitter.com/y7TaAgyXUx

The switcheroo was such a blatant jamming of the NFL that even hardcore Kaepernick defenders like ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith had seen enough and blasted the former bench warmer over the stunt.
It hasn’t gone over with prospective employers either and while schmucks like Brandon Allen and Jeff Driskell were stinking it up on Sunday, Kaepernick remains on the outside looking in after a grand total of ZERO NFL teams gave him a call.
In the week since Colin Kaepernick worked out for seven NFL teams at Charles R. Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia, no teams have reached out to work him out, visit with him or sign him, per sources.https://t.co/IECNxlRs50

Via The Bleacher Report, “Colin Kaepernick Rumors: QB Has Received ‘Absolutely Zero’ Interest from Teams”:
Despite flashing elite arm strength and fluidity in the pocket during his public workout last week, Colin Kaepernick has reportedly received “zero” interest from NFL teams.
“Zero. Absolutely zero. The workout last week did absolutely nothing to enhance the chances that Colin Kaepernick is going to wind up with another team,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Sunday on SportsCenter. “There hasn’t been a team that has requested a workout. There hasn’t been a team that has requested a visit. There hasn’t been a team that has expressed interest in signing him. So, despite the fact that one week ago we saw Colin Kaepernick work out at the high school down in the Atlanta area, it has not translated into any results, and though the league wanted to try to help out, at least said it was trying to help out, nothing’s come of it. Colin Kaepernick’s wait continues and it looks like it’s going to be continuing for a very, very, very long time.”
Kaepernick worked out in front of eight NFL teams last weekend in Atlanta, backing out of a league-scheduled event in favor of one of his own. The workout was streamed and made available to media after Kaepernick and the NFL could not come to terms on details of a tryout that was scheduled for the Atlanta Falcons’ facility.
“I’ve been ready for three years,” Kaepernick said after the workout, per Vaughn McClure of ESPN. “I’ve been denied for three years.
And he will continue to be “denied” because he has not only worn out his welcome but also the victim card that he continues to play.
There is always the Canadian Football League where he won’t have to stand for the Star-Spangled Banner.
