Kamala Harris tried to explain her sinking presidential campaign on sexism and racism and continues to play the victim now that she’s dropping out of the race. According to the California democrat, she’s not suspending her campaign because of zero enthusiasm and similar polling numbers but rather because she’s too poor to run for president. As someone who tried to emulate Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016, it’s shocking that Harris hasn’t yet blamed the Russians for her nose dive.
When Harris entered the democratic primary race earlier this year, there was a decent amount of buzz for her candidacy. Then again, there was hardly anyone else in the race at that time so interest in her was by default. Ever since she started speaking to people on the campaign trail, her numbers have consistently dropped and even she can longer pretend like she has a shot. In a Medium post, she broke the news to the 5 or 6 people who gave a crap:
Eleven months ago at the launch of our campaign in Oakland I told you all: “I am not perfect. But I will always speak with decency and moral clarity and treat all people with dignity and respect. I will lead with integrity. I will speak the truth.”
And that’s what I have tried to do every day of this campaign. So here’s the truth today.
I’ve taken stock and looked at this from every angle, and over the last few days have come to one of the hardest decisions of my life.My campaign for president simply doesn’t have the financial resources we need to continue.
Then she actually highlighted this next part to make sure you understand what a victim she is in all of this:
I’m not a billionaire. I can’t fund my own campaign. And as the campaign has gone on, it’s become harder and harder to raise the money we need to compete.
Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Pete Buttigieg are not billionaires nor are they financing their own campaigns. It must be that sexism and racism thing Harris was talking about that keeps her from attracting donors. Either that or people simply don’t like her.
In good faith, I can’t tell you, my supporters and volunteers, that I have a path forward if I don’t believe I do.
So, to you my supporters, it is with deep regret — but also with deep gratitude — that I am suspending my campaign today.
What is she talking about? She lies all the time. In fact…
But I want to be clear with you: I am still very much in this fight.
And I will keep fighting every day for what this campaign has been about. Justice for The People. All the people.
Our campaign has been about fighting for people whose voices that have not been heard or too often ignored.
If she’s only fighting for the “voiceless” she’s not fighting for all the people. Also, she has never fought for any people so this is a double lie.
This next part was in bold so you know how delusional she is:
And I want to be clear: although I am no longer running for President, I will do everything in my power to defeat Donald Trump and fight for the future of our country and the best of who we are.
If she’s no longer running for president, she doesn’t have any power to defeat President Trump. Really, the only thing in her power is her single vote in the state of California that will automatically go for the democratic party candidate anyway. In reality Harris is trying to come across as a badass because she will cast an irrelevant vote next November. Oooh, take that Trump!
Here’s some more reality: Kamala Harris is done because she’s fake and unlikeable. She’s so disingenuous that she’s a black woman who black people can’t stand. Her campaign failed because it was doomed from the start and she’s the only one who is surprised by this.
That being said, I will miss her as she was a great source of material. Like Eric Swalwell, Bill de Blasio, and Beto O’Rourke before her, Harris could be counted on to say something insane, which translated directly into Def-Con News articles. At least she’ll still be in the Senate and won’t stop being full of shit so she’ll continue to bel a valuable resource of liberal idiocy to be mined.
