Body Cam Theater! Today’s Episode: “Viva Las Thugas”

What do you do if you’re a cop and you’ve tried to arrest a screaming thug only to see him knock out one of your brethren with a steel pipe, knock down another who tried to tase the critter, and then runs straight at you intending to do you grievous bodily harm? The answer, in this case, is to shoot him in the chest twice.

Police reveal new details, bodycam of officer-involved shooting inside McCarran Airport

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed more information and body camera footage on Saturday of the moment an officer opened fire on a violent suspect at McCarran international airport.

“I want to say how proud I am of our officers who work at the airport and how they responded to the call,” said Assistant Sheriff Charles Hank with LVMPD.

Authorities said around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning, police were called out on a report of a door breach inside the airport and moving through two terminals, police eventually found 32-year-old Jordan Henry.

Jordan Henry: berserk villain.

“The officer standing next to Henry attempted to grab Henry’s arm to conduct a pat-down, causing Henry to aggressively pull away from the officers grasp. Henry then let out a scream”

The video showed Henry taking off and punching a second arriving officer, knocking the officer unconscious.

Indeed. Look what this animal did to this guy. This article says he punched the officer. Another said he used a metal pipe. I’m going with the latter due to the damage I see inflicted here.

As Henry continued to run, Assistant Sheriff Hank said a third officer who arrived on the scene fired a taser.

“The taser was ineffective and Henry punched the officer in the face causing him to fall to the ground,” said Hank.

I suppose that’s what you get for being a nice guy and trying less-than-lethal. You try to do some people a favor. Sheesh.

LVMPD also identified the officer who opened fire as Sgt. Jason Hanson, an officer who’s been on the force for nearly 20 years.

“Sergeant Hanson gave Henry commands to get on the ground,” Hank said.

Still running, Henry was shot twice in the torso.

Here’s the video of the this thug’s rampage. It’s a long one so I’ve picked out key points to look for. The attack begins at 2:28. The animal gets put down at around 3:22. And this was no out-of-character act by a dindu. At 6:27 you can hear about this thing’s criminal history.

Now in the hospital, he faces multiple charges including battery on a police officer and trespassing.

Henry was listed in stable but critical condition.

That’s a shame. I mean that he’s still alive, of course. Do society a favor and pull the plug on the thug.
